desktop's are usually pretty good.
they can be bad, but on the low end, they run minecraft on 20 fps, that's not chunky, it's fine, as long as you don't go to fast.
but bad ones are pretty rare though.

if it's potato, go into settings and find the frame limiter thing.
then make it limited to your avarage framerate.
then it will run more smooth.

I think that the reason that mining fatuige doesn't make everything unbreakable is
1. that would be too op.
2. you can mine in, but only if you're overleveled.

that's my character.
I could also maybe know alchemy(like in full metal alchemist, or maybe just real world alchemy but it works. But the point was searching for something that WOULD work. Maybe a heart of the sea? maybe it's a special philosipher's stone. My character could theorize something along the lines of that. there's also prismatic shards.).
