    What resources are needed?

well first we would need a iron and slime farm so slime and iron, plus villegers for the iron farm and  paper from sugercane but I don't know how to make a creeper farm, a xp farm would require above bedrock so mainly iron ,slime and honey. currently I can't play minecraft though, maybe tommorow

an option for no mane would be what your creatures should start with so eve has no mane and adam has small mane but the wanderers would have most likely no mane or tuft mane so that this wouldn't be  overpowered, the no mane would give no atributes and would be useful if you didn't wan't to make a lion, also the bearyena mane and liotah mane could be added to the post.(don't forget that you can edit!)

oh yeah and mane growth speeds, add that in along with curly mane and this and maybe

    These might make better stats:

    Small mane:

    +1 attractiveness

    Medium mane:

    +1 attractiveness

Big mane: (male lions rarely hunt and use their manes more as defense)

    +1 defense

    +1 distasteful appearance

    -1 speed (min 1)

Tuft mane: (I'm thinking Lynx or Bobcat here)

    +1 hearing (includes females)

The balance of 'attractiveness' would need to be shifted. So that peacock tail might give +3 while some manes give +1.

    Thanks for the reminder!

But how do you tell them apart then?

What you're suggesting is pretty much a wolf's paw, which has no adaptations for attack at all. Wolves are pursuit predators, and their paws are adapted for chasing prey down over long distances. The claws work sort of like studs on football boots, and are fairly useless when it comes to attack. Wolves have much less flexible paws than, say, a big cat like a lion or tiger, and can't use their claws to really hurt their prey. I made a comment on this post a while back on why a runner's paw with claws would't be all that different from a runner's paw without claws here

cats have retractable claws, I think that is what he/she means

Added a head gene! And now the hindlegs give only +1 speed and no longer disables horns.

I was thinking, instead of the pouncing ability just working on prey (like wings) they could also work on predators if the creature has horns? Maybe if the creature has any horn other than Megahorns (and antenna obviously)?

    yup, this is good Idea
