yes yes yes you should, im currently extremely obsessed with it and ive played through the whole singleplayer story like 3 or 4 times, plus i keep making dumb test chambers that are way too easy, and usually don't even need any portals

try making one that you must use a glitch for.

if you enter a the thing that makes you float while crouching, then uncrouch while in it, then exit, you can take the effect outside of it.

what about a test chamber with no portals allowed?

  3. I really want a game with an in depth crafting system.

Like,  the cooking would be like a papa louie minigame, and the timer would be you and your friend's hunger bars.

and when crafting weapons, it would be like Jacksmith, and how well you do would effect your performance. Plus since we are getting close to simulating taste we could possibly have taste as a function, though since it would be so realistic cooking, it would actually probably work just as well to cook in the game, AND real life.

But unlike the papa louie games, there wouuld be an in depth fail system.

though there would be  limitations so that you couldn't make a completely different recipe that uses the same ingrediants, because it would be quite hard to code a free roam one.

and when you're squeezing some of the air out of the dough you would have it either be the scroll wheel or using your keyboard you would have the movement keys be used, by going: asd asd asd asd asdasd asd asd

    to squish the dough.

it would then look at what the opposite end of the keyboard has.

jkl jkl jkl jkl jkl jkl jkl jkl.

and doing it wrong would just have the animation look different.

there would also be a rusting system, so that you couldn't have a tool last too long, and wood would decompose and such.

plus then the crafting system would effect how well you are able to use the tool on the food.

and you could use many tools  for the same purpose, allowing for you to make it a rage game of cooking.

Though it wouldn't have an aging system or only one death.

and there would also be a bunch of fantasy elements as well.

it would probably play out like a game called Thrive.

my brain is in square mode.

    so I am confused.

so confused that I accidentally said it twice.

I'm no longer in square mode.

I may be leaning towards it though.

aternos only has a certain selection of mods. You can suggest mods to add but I would rather not go through all the mods.

could you link where it shows what selection of mods aternos supports?

    wdym?

anyways read the stuff in green to see what I think of the mod.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/natures-compass a good quality of life mod to help you find biomes.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/tinkers-construct a balenced tech mod that seems simaler to fire and ice dragons in how it works.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/better-advancements If you want more advancements.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/immersive-engineering  another balanced and animation heavy tech mod.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/aquaculture I want fishing, though you might not care. if you don't care oh well.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/botania somewhat generic tech mod, but it's literal magic. druidic magic. Not much animation.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/iron-chests I think that this is somewhat unbalanced but we do need to keep in league with the other mods

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/clumps will help with lag from exp.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/chisels-bits good for building. Polly might like it. You can make fruniture, but it's super customizable. It does have high trolling potential, and also allows for clear glass windows.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/randompatches-forge as the name says, random patches.

https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/neat just a clientside qol mod but I'm putting it here so I can delete my extra tabs.

I read through most of the mods, but I already played tinker's construct and Botania so those ones are the most accurate.

I will be using red for what the mods the dependencies help.

    DEPENDENCIES:

    https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/mantle Tinker's construct.

    https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/redstone-flux  Immersive engineering.

I will check which of these aternos supports.
