  1. True yeah i didn't think about that much, but maybe females can get a bit of a curl to it!
  2. What if the nichelings had a choice of having a mane? Each gender have a choice of 4 diff types of manes. If you watched alpha and omega you should know lily, the wolf who cant see much with the hair in her face. Basically there would be 2 manes that don't effect sight. One mane that would cover one eye causing them to be shortsighted just without the eye gene. Then the last mane covering both eyes causing them to be blind, the only difference with the hair is that they don't have heightened hearing or smelling. The drawing is an example, the mane styles don't have to look like that lol
  3. Uwu so what if the animals with toxic body had blood that wasn't red that would make them poisonous? Or at least show one of the reasons on why they are poisonous idk uh-
  4. Can i get an F in chat :')
  5. I have played this game for 3 or 4 months and have completely fell deep in love with it! I had made a tribe called the Niight tribe, and then i thought, what if the creatures could move at night? So basically here's how i think it In game ,after a few generations, you meet a nicheling with/unlock the gene Nocturnal Eyes. The eyes can be whatever color you want but it is extra glossy. It has like a glittery look to it. And at night the eyes glow a bit, showing where the nicheling is. During the day nocturnal creatures sleep and at night is when the nocturnal creatures creep (hehe) If you have day creatures AND nocturnal creatures in your tribe. The day creatures are the only ones who can move while the nocturnal ones sleep. Then when night comes its the nocturnal animals time. Animals that move at night (example peaceful bear) will be able to roam about with the fellow nocturnal nichelings. But of course it will be a little hard for them to find the nichelings that wonder in the dark. The advantages that the eyes provide: +2 stealth +2 nocturnal (duh) +2 more nocturnal (if eyes identical learn more below next paragraph) +1 attractiveness (the glossy glittery look makes the nichelings look prettier to nichelings of opposite sex) If creature is blind nocturnal then they can sense a non-nicheling unusual animal smell, causing them to let out a sound. The sound would alert tribe members 5 tiles away from them. The disadvantages that the eyes provide: Encountering a threat not yet seen by the full tribe allows the nicheling to be vulnerable to attack. Nichelings can have two separate eyes, but only ones that would make sense. Such as shortsighted eyes with shortsighted and eyes with eyes. The separate eyes would go like blind eyes with eyes and shortsighted eye with the shortsighted (more like blind) eye. Or with nocturnal, if there is a day creature mated with a night creature then the baby will have nocturnal eye and eye. Same goes with the shortsighted eye and blind eye(shortsighted eye and shortsighted nocturnal eye + blind eye and nocturnal eye) If a nicheling has blind eye, the eye would become nocturnal but be cloudy and would leave you with 0 eyesight 1 hearing and 2 smelling. If no nocturnal eye is present you can choose whether or not a blind eye is nocturnal. Two blind nocturnal eyes is the only acception of a nicheling being able to roam in the dark without having to have 2 nocturnal, they cannot roam during the day. Nichelings with 2 nocturnal are day and night creatures. They are more of a day creature though, so sometimes they cannot roam the night. Due to 2 nocturnal, they can only move 2 or 3 tiles while the 4 nocturnal allows 4 or 5. For a day creature to mate with night creatures, a day creature must move next to the night creature and you press the heart. But here is the catch, day x night creatures have a 20% chance of success. Which means that mating will be difficult, unless the day creature has nocturnal eye as well. A nocturnal day creature has a 50% of success which is a better rate than the last. The rate can get 20% added to it if the mating is done at night. The sight you would see at night is basically the day to night transition and when its fully night things would become brighter, allowing the player to see. Nocturnal creatures can do basically everything else that a normal nicheling can do. I've explained all that i can think of for this and in the future i may add a picture of what things would look like and maybe other ideas i can think of. For now just have the eye 😆 noc= nocturnal s.s= shortsighted bl= blind sep= separated
