  1. A name with the prefix Feral. A name with Clover in it. A name based on a location in the Warriors territory (I used Morikawa for one of mine; forest river) A name based on a personality trait/achievement that's kind of vague but like idk how else to explain it(One of my cats got named Braveshine after saving her best friend from a fire; brave for her act, shine for the fire) A name describing the physical features of the cat (Some of mine are Starshine for pelt colour, Dot(kit) for his lil black nose bc the rest of him is white) Sometimes I use colours to describe the personalities of cats in their names because that's a 'language i speak' in the words of my friend. But that also works. It's also a little story thing because all the outsiders are like "why is your leader naming people after colours that aren't even in your fur" or whatever and then the clan cats are like "We're used to it by now. Something about auras." (The leader's name is Rosenight because she was born at midninght and I associate her with red that isn't quite red but is kind of really reddish pink, and her deputy's name is Glaucous for both the colour and because he's perfectly harmless, and one of the new kits of the clan is Rosenight's neice, and her sister wanted her to help with the name because the father is perfectly dead, so Rose named her Falu) There's also legacy naming like Leafstar in SkyClan. "Bouncefire" was named after Firestar I'm pretty sure, and Puddleshine was named after hold up their names are too similar was Puddleshine named after Pebbleshine or was Pebbleshine named after Puddleshine? ... One of those two. I just find it cool that she names cats after other cats she looks up to. It says something good about the cats she names, as well. And some of your cats names don't have to have a prefix ad a suffix if they're formerly from somewhere outside of the clans. So. Okay, just researched, Pebbleshine was named after Puddleshine.

  9. Understandable. Okay, keep reading child =^w^= when i get around to playing again and stop messing around with screenshots--
  10. I've spent this entire time trying to get screenshots to work. But they refuse. So you're gonna have to live without them, friends.
  11. why, why were you reading in math you naughty child--
  12. OUATIL that music makes my brain go at a manageable pace. And now I'm living a slightly better life than about a week ago.
  13. Pretty much exactly like everyone elses. No long blocks of text-- though I can live through those, I just prefer not to. It doesn't really matter to me whether or not it has screenshots or not because no books I've become invested in had illustrations, but if they're there, then that's nice. Character interactions. It's like in Warrior Cats whe they have to swap POV's just to tell yo uwhat's going on in the other clans even though they have nothing to do with the main plot-- just, make your characters interact, or at least think about each other. Also, if a character acts one way at the start and suddenly acts another way halfway through, I need an explanation at least. At best some kind of journey of self discovery. I agree that character development is important, too. If a character is too complex right from the start, it's hard to believe that it's the same character. although sometimes i manage to hve issues with this. at least, in my opinion. But an empty slate of a character is no good, either. One 'chapter' or post has to have new information. By that I mean no repetition - that's just something that I personally can't handle - and no unecessary details unless it's a portrayal of the character's personality through thoughts or for foreshadowing. Actually, that's just a story tip in general. Just a little note on that last one; I had to write the entire thing on my whiteboard and force it into words because my brain was going too fast for me to comprehend it properly in something other than images and colours. What is going on-- This is just a little kinda personal preference thing, but if I find wanderers that I don't think I can slot into the story - for example, there's an old melanistic female creature that I have nothing to do with in my Orniekis playthrough because she's old, but not as old as Pridukven was - I don't even try. I invite them in so that they're not wandering around and then use then to gather food so that my creatures don't starve to death in the middle of a plot point. I think that's all I have to say. Might come back to this if I get any other ideas and edit them into this reply.
  14. Can't believe how well I fit in here. On the forums in general. I love all you people =^w^=
