  1. Birb of the day is back! This time I won't make up for missed days, it's been a few months.

19th April- Philippine dwarf kingfisher! Wins the title for looking fantastic and also silly

    Philippine dwarf kingfisher - Wikipedia

This is the first known photograph of an extremely rare juvenile south Philippines dwarf kingfisher. : r/Damnthatsinteresting

After 130 years of evading scientists and photographers, the minuscule and ultra-rare South Philippine dwarf kingfisher has finally been photographed : r/aww

Fun fact: there are multiple subspecies of this bird. While the southern subspecies has a more intense purple, the northern subspecies have blue spotting on their wings.

(this makes me want to modify the design of my birb fursona, Lo-Fi, with inspiration from these guys (paticularly the second picture)

  2. I'm not sure if someone's suggested it on this thread, but being able to seperate your Nichelings into seperate groups within save files, along with options to set gem colour for the whole of the group and seperate food and nesting material stores for the groups. It would be useful for organisation and for various challenges!

Plus, I love playing on the Archipeligo and watching different 'subspecies' form as I play on the small islands (eg: On one save file that I used to have, on one island everyone had cracker jaw and spiky body, and on a different island everyone was a bearyena hybrid) . It would be fun to group them up and give them seperate food storages for realism!

If anyone's wondering about the genders I intentionally made female more likeley than male because most of the characters (including the random ponies in the background) are female. So these ponies are a predominantly female species.

It's also implied that horses are a completley seperate, non-sentient species to the ponies. Don't ask. This show gets strange sometimes

I loved Rarity when I liked the show as a little kid but I could never draw her mane and tail style. Look at me now able to draw her hair
