  1. Starting Stuff:

1: Create 1 ugly female in sandbox. (Derp snout/bat head, webbed/deformed etc paws, toxic body because its lumpy and hunched, stinky tail, webbed or bearyena hind legs)

2: Make her your only Nicheling and give her plenty of food so she doesn't starve before the challenge starts. Have damage multiplier at whatever you want, but at least 1. healing multiplier must be 1.

    3:Set ages to: 1 baby, 2 child, 4 teen, 30 adult.

4: Use only wanderers to breed!

5: The goal of the challenge is to breed out all her 'ugly' genes in as little generations as possible!

    Other Rules:

    • When your first female dies, control one of her children.
    • Your 'main character' is either your first female or the new child who you picked. They are an alpha, the rest are omegas, they are the only one who breeds
    • The traits you're going for (good-looking stuff) is stuff like big nose/short snout, nice eye colours, lean/medium/big body, fishing tail, medium tail, velvet paw/runner leg, runner hind legs, and whatever fur colours you find attractive.
    • Mutation menu is banned.

  2. This challenge is based off Erin Hunter's book series, Bravelands.

    Starting Conditions:

Damage and Healing multipliers are normal. Start in Rainforest, Overgrown Jungle, Deep Jungle, or Jungle Gate. Start with Nichelings at these ranks: 1 Crownleaf, 1 Highleaf, 2 Middleleaves, 1 Goodleaf (must have purr snout) , 1 Starleaf (must have antennae) , and 3 Lowleaves.

The ranking system is what makes the challenge very hard!

1: every baboon's rank goes at the end of their name. Names are based of nature, like 'Twig' or 'Ant'. So if you have a Nicheling named Root at Middleleaf rank, then their full name will be 'Root Middleleaf'

2: When someone is born, they get the Deeproot rank (the lowest) but can rise.

3: When a baboon is of age (pick between 'growing 3rd gem' and 'growing 2nd gem') roll a number generator for the three feats. If they have good genetics, roll from 1 to 2. If they are average, roll from 1 to 3. If they have bad genes, roll from 1 to 4.

4: If the number lands on the highest it can go, they did the feat right. They rise a rank. Do this 2 more times for all 3 feats.  Deeproot becomes Lowleaf, which rises to Middleleaf, then Highleaf. The rank they end up in is where they stay.

5: If a highleaf has antennae, they become a Starleaf. If a highleaf has purr snout, they become a Goodleaf. Starleaves predict the future and Goodleaves heal their troop.

6: Deeproots gather grass and are used as Nicheling sheilds. Lowleaves gather berries, nuts, and roots. Middleaves hunt and fight, so do Highleaves.

7: Deeproots and Lowleaves are Omegas, Middleleaves, Highleaves, Goodleaves and Starleaves are betas, the Crownleaf (leader) is an Alpha.

8: You are only allowed to mate with baboons within your rank. Crownleaves, Starleaves, and Goodleaves can mate within those three ranks as well as with Highleaves.

9: If you find a wanderer, roll a number generator from 1 to 2. If it lands on 1, you trust them so they join you. They will also do the three feats.

10: You must stay on the island for at least 25 days but migrate after at least 40 days. (Represents that baboons are nomads)

11: If the Crownleaf dies, use a random number generator to see which highleaf becomes the Crownleaf.

  3. I had an idea for a new predator that spawns very rarely on killer islands.

It has a scaly reptile appearence, red with black streaks. It's huge! It takes up one tile with each foot, and between them there's space for Nichelings to squeeze in to the body. It can attack Nichelings standing next to it's feet, which look like the icon for bearyena front leg (the icon does not look like the real thing). It walks with its legs in a star shape, splayed out and close to the ground.

You can attack it's body or feet, and they have different defense. The feet have 4 defense and the body is a weak point with 1 defense. It has 6 attack so don't get hit. It will also randomly destroy berry bushes, trying to starve your tribe. It drops 50 food.

  4. I have a species rules idea. It's based off lions in the real world, with one or two adjustments to make the game playable and fit in with Niche.

There can only be one adult male in the tribe at a time, he is the Alpha. He breeds with all females in the tribe. All sons must be banished when they are about to grow their third gem. Only leave one son to be the heir, who takes over the group when the Alpha dies. If an adult Male wanderer walks within two tiles of the alpha, it means he wants to take the group. Roll a random number generator from 1 to 2 to see who wins. If it's one, your Alpha won and you get to chase away the male. But if you role a two, the other male won. You must set your alpha to an omega rank, banish him, and invite in the wanderer as the new Alpha. If the group gets taken like this, banish all children immeadiatley, including females.

Extra rule: lead nichelings you must banish away before you banish them, so they don't challenge the Alpha instantly.

  5. So over time I've developed a pretty cool pantheon of Nichelings, with four godesses and one god. Here they are!

Rera and Rare: The beginnings sisters.

The beginnings sisters share a domain so I put them together. They stared the second era of the tribe: the Hunting era. In this era it was common to have 3-6 in speed and 0-4 in strength, allowing nearly everyone to hunt.

Appearence: Rera was a derp snout with lean body, orange fur, black ram horns and runner legs. Rare was the same, but her colour was gold, and she had grey antlers and poison fangs.

    Domain: New beginnings and hunting

Blessing: Being both fast and strong.

    Pebble: The saddest story

Pebble was born in the mountains, on an ice age challenge I was doing. She rushed into battle alone with a balance bear to save the tribe and earned her title.

Appearence: Beige colour, with grey ram horns. Big nose, medium body, 1 claw 1 runner leg and a hammer tail.

    Domain: Godess of sacrafice.

    Blessing: Having ancient genes

    Ghudra: The birb :D

Ghudra's birth suprised me. I bred 2 Nichelings, they had 1 wing each. But I was still suprised when Ghudra was born with 2! She helped the tribe by perching on trees and getting the nuts, often calling out for a mate.

Appearence: Grey fur, pink ram horns and poison fangs with violet eyes. Double bird wings, big body, webbed hind legs.

Domain: Flight and air, messenger of the gods.

    Blessing: Double wings

    Trukgud: The Platypus

Trukgud was found in the sea as a wanderer. He was the first in the tribe to be useful in the sea.

Appeatrence: Grey, with platypus beak, water body, 1 digging paw 1 runner leg, fishing tail and webbed hind legs.

    Domain: God of the Sea

Blessing: Being able to breathe underwater and have a way to get food from the sea.

I hope you like my gods.

  6. Nicheling: Ghudra

Domain: God of air and flight, messanger of the gods

Apearence: Big body, wings, grey colour, violet eyes, pink ram horns, poison fangs, webbed hind legs and medium tail

Asthetic: Clouds, shades of mostly grey with purple and pink dashes.

Personality: Calm in a dire situation, serious about her tribe's survival

PS: I did not make her with sandbox or console she really suprised me when she was born, I didn't even have mutation menu wing.
