    Perfect Challenge (Brutal Ver.)

    Take two :

    New starters for diversity, the aim is to find clawed Nichelings, this time. (Or to unlock it in the mutation menu)

    The first Imperfection appeared before we could leave the first island...

    At last ! A normal baby will save us !

    The tribe in the middle of The Great Purge, exiling and killing all Imperfects.

    Then, the search for mate took of. For a reaally loong tiime.

    Finally, three islands later, a sick mate was found.

    But the pregnant momma died because of a bloodlust against toxic-bodied people.

    And then the mate died too.

    Hi, I've tried it and it was really fun to stop everything and run after wanderers and rogues for murder XD

    My two starters that I had somewhat randomized as to have a journey to perfection (notably : finding the saber tooth snout which is my favorite)

    Three islands later, after having found my beautiful snout, no babies were born with it... and tragedy struck ! Our first Imperfect child !

    It got four other imperfect siblings and the tribe quickly died out from the cold...

     

    But I had lots of fun and will retry it for sure ! :)

    @Zixvir More money means basically either we can work longer on the game (=improve the game) before we run out of money and HAVE to release (to get a new money influx), or we can hire additional people so we can work on it faster. We're still a small team and we're still fighting for survival :) Money doesn't make a game better by itself, but it makes the two things mentioned above possible :)

    I donated 40 for the Scout, but I can't find how to enter Early-access. Steam says it's on but there's nowhere to enter the Indiegogo code...

    I need help. ^^'

    • one leader, they have a set tribe limit (3-17) that sticks with them until their death; when they die, a new leader and tribe limit is chosen
    • Random.org chooses which port we go to
    • it also chooses how many days (1-20) we must stay on the island, though we can stay as long as we wish
    • R also chooses how many nichelings make go on the port (1 to however many tiles there are)
    • this chooses BOTH mutations for every nicheling; mutations must be chosen as soon as possible after the nicheling's birth
    • blind genes
    • every creature may only have 3 children; the exception is the current leader, who may have as many as they wish
    • when a sick child is born, R chooses 50-50 whether console kills them instantly or not
    • you cannot intentionally kill off your leader, but you can choose to leave them behind when travelling
    • if a nicheling is banished, it may not be invited in. however, you can breed with it
    • possibly more rules to come, I'm still only on Eve's island (gotta stay here for 13 days)

    Cool rules, I'm going to try these on story mode this afternoon.

    What do we do if the gene generated is not unlocked yet ? Reroll ?

    Is it just me, or does Purr Snout give anyone else the creeps?

    For me the whiskers look kind of jarring, like to poor things have been victims of porcupine attack! 😧
