middle school & school in general is kind of like a big human puzzle
lemme explain
so the puzzle all comes together around the mark between the first break and second break (summer and winter breaks), some pieces come together earlier than others (people find and create cliques & such), people start memorizing their schedules and so when the break does happen it just kind of smashes the carefully put together puzzle with a hammer, some people leave, friendships fall out, people get closer, schedules change, whatever
and then the cycle repeats, & is doomed to repeat forever (or at least until the American school system eventually falls a into ruin and stuff)
