You knew you were right not to match her look.
You had once watched her doctor beat her unconscious for showing any type of emotion..
...
Dr. Vrince led you down the hall and left, into the room where he usually did check-ups.
"O-Okay.." Sweetkit mewed.
She tried her best to look triumph when she exited the bush.
"Sweetkit!" Pearlpaw exclaimed. "You're okay!"
"What? Oh course I-I'm okay!" Sweetkit mewed.
"Personally, I agree with her." Tristan pointed to the girl. "But, the least we can do is tell the guy our names."
"I'm Tristan. And I have no idea who the other two are."
"Go straight until you reach a dead end. But, turn left at the group of boxes just before the dead end." Rignstone replied. "And you might want to stop nibbling on that." She flicked her tail to the raw meat.
Sweetkit seemed like she had faintly heard you, but she nodded.
"Eventually she will find out. She will go looking for that mouse-brained murderer." Blindstar insisted. "He will teach her. And she will follow in his pawsteps."
"You don't know that for sure-" Pearlpaw cut in.
The she-cat nodded. "A fire spread upon the few trees among our camp." She mewed.
-
"I, am Mountainstar." He mewed. "And I have come to offer you protection."
"Why do you decide to-" The tom paused. "You're not Ice. Are you?"
"You're right, Cricket. She looks a lot more... Soft." A she-cat added, approaching.
