  1. I vote green, green outline! I think the shade would actually compliment a lot of colors. Rose outline is probably a close second for me, it still looks phenomenal but probably compliments less things. The only ones I don't particularly like are the white outlines. It feels too thick for a simple white outline, like there was meant to be color where there is none. Other than that, I absolutely love the art!!! It's everything I imagine when I think "Niche Merchandise" and more!
  2. Have Dukdon, my aesthetically pleasing boy! I am so in love with all the new genes, I can't wait to find more of them.
  3. This is mostly a time save/convenience idea, but it would be so very useful to people who play around in sandbox a lot! This idea would be a button in the animal creator section of sandbox mode that allows you to copy dominant genes slots into recessive gene slots and vice versa, allowing you to create animals much faster! While many players might not want these genes to be exactly the same, it can still speed up the process of animal creation by allowing them to put all genes as identical and then changing what they want changed manually. To put it in other words, it would allow you to fill out only one section of genetic code and then make the other section identical. From there, players can still edit the code if they wish in any way they'd like. It'd simply be a much appreciated convenience button for the community to use.
  4. Yeah! I know there're ways to get both with different genes, but having them both in one place would be sooooo helpful
  5. I almost didn't see the bottom text XD Hello! Nice to meet ya. Greetings, Earthling!
  6. The idea is to have a gene that stops bugs, leeches, and any other pests added from affecting a creature- rather, they'd simply linger in the area, able to affect those without the gene but not those with it. I'd suggest that this be a body gene. Where would this gene be helpful, you might ask? Two answers: it gives underwater creatures the ability to travel alone without fear of leeches, and in swamps it gives some protections from mosquitos, who can easily cause the death of smaller packs without anything you can do to stop them. I can also see this addition coming in the form of a tail, though it might take some creativity to get it to fit thematically. Some suggestions on the gene's name: Waxy Body, Slick Body, Pesticide Body, Repellent Body, Repellent Tail. Because it takes up a highly useful gene slot, one would have to carefully consider before choosing to breed in this gene, contributing to the game's strategy element. To unlock it, one could fish up a certain number of leeches and collect a certain number of bugs. For appearances, if you go down the waxy/slick body path it could be a somewhat small body type with occasional thin strokes of fur poking up, signaling that it's being slicked by something. I'm not sure what a Pesticide Body or Repellant Body would look like, nor tail, as I indicated earlier. Feel free to criticize and share thoughts, i'd love to workshop this idea and make it more realistic!
  7. Heyo! I'm a relatively new niche player who's absolutely enamored by the game. I've come to share some ideas I've written down while playing, and generally just have fun. Nice to meet you all!
