  1. Episode 37: On Long Island, Tadukro chases down his upset son Vanlurno to try and explain that power isn't everything. Vanlurno asks that the female he had selected as leader be able to come back with them to be his mate. Tadukro thinks about it and reluctantly accepts. They prepare to head back to Pink Line Island next turn. One of the green line siblings drowns trying to cross over to Yellow Line Island in order to make it back to Nuvan's Island eventually. With their situation more desperate, Nokirvan comes up with a plan. Him and Elko will breed, and tell their child about the tragedy that has occurred; tell them to go back to their half-siblings and give them direction and a mission. Elko accepts the plan and prepares for her final child, who will hopefully set right everything that she has messed up.
  2. (Ahhh I see, that makes sense strategy-wise. If you want to have only dalmations killing the non-dalmations helps
  3. well just don't attack them and you're good then, right?
  4. Day 12 Fangs Run knew something was wrong when she saw the look on Mimime's face. "Fang and Strawberry are fighting!" Mimime frantically said. That's obvious! Tell me what's wrong! "We knew that already," said Run, unable to hide the worry and annoyance. "No," said Mimime, "I mean physically fighting! Fang attacked Strawberry!" "Fang wouldn't do that!" Run snapped, this is rediculous, why would Strawberry and Fang fight? "Well he did, I saw him jump at her," Mimime argued. "Maybe he was provoked, or maybe you are mistaken," Run accused. "Do you honestly think Strawberry would try and hurt Fang?" Mimime questioned. No...I don't. I just can't believe what you're saying! What motive would either of them have? What were they even arguing about anyways? "I just can't believe it," Run finaly said. "Well hurry up and believe it, before Fang and Strawberry hurt eachother, or worse. We have to go stop them!" Mimime pushed. She's right. If Fang's in danger of getting hurt I have to stop this fight! "We should go in different directions to come at the fight from different angles," suggested Stalker. "Alright," Run said, "I'll go this way." She bounded off, quickly, I have to get to Fang. I have to save him. * Mimime was halfway to the sight of the fight when she heard a scream. Stalker was about 10 feet to her left, and whirled around. "Is that Run?!" he said, quite worried. "I think so," said Mimime, "but one of us has to go on and break up the fight. I'll go see what's wrong." Stalker nodded, and Mimime ran in the direction of the scream. Minutes passed, Mimime's heart was racing, what would make Run scream like that? Then, she saw someone run out of the snow. It was Run, crying. "What happened?" Mimime asked. Run just sat there a minute, unable to say anything. "What is it?" asked Mimime, anxious to know. A few more minutes passed, Run crying and trying to collect herself. Mimime walked over to her and huddled with her. Then, finally, she spoke, "A-a-a male-he-I tried to stop him but he wouldn't. And I-I freed my paw somehow and hit him in the head-and I did it again-and then when he got off me-he-he-he-" she burst into tears again. I'm going to kill that male for what he did to Run! Poor sweet Run never hurt anyone, and now this has happened to her, "He what?" asked Mimime, trying to be comforting but unable to keep the anger out of her voice. "He-he-began to sumble and-an-c-cough up bl...ood...he just kept doing so and convulsing-I-I stood there. I was unsure what to do. Then he was still-completely still...he was..." Run broke up into crying again. What are you upset about? Mimime thought, I mean, sure it's not pleasant to see someone die, but you should've been relieved at least! "It's alright," she soothed, "he deserved it." "No-no-y-ou don't under...stand. I hit him-I caused him to die," Run stuttered. "If the guy died with a couple slaps to the face he had a serious problem already. You didn't kill him. He was going to die within the next week, maybe even today," Mimime explained. Run only started crying again. "There, there, I know you've had a terrible experiance," Mimime said, trying to comfort her. * Stalker saw his father from far off. He was tempted to call out to him, but something wasn't right. His father was lying down in an odd position, and Mimime was no-where to be found. Let's not assume anything. But also, I won't say anything in case that would alert someone I shouldn't want to find me to my presence. He crept closer, and closer. He got within smelling distance, but Fang didn't stirr. He got so close his father should be able to sense him, maybe even hear him, but Fang didn't move. Finally, Stalker was so close he could touch him. He put his paw on his father, and shook, trying to wake him up. It was to no avail. His father didn't feel as warm as he should be. No, it can't be! thought Stalker, dad would never loose a fight. Nothing could ever take him down. Stalker fought the tears and decided to creep around the other side. He took a deep breath and looked at Fang's face. His eyes were closed, mouth slightly agape. Completely motionless, not breathing. Stalker had seen this look, this stance, come over many a rabbit. Some deer too. Even some of his siblings. But he never thought it could happen to his father. Not to Fang. He was too wise, too skilled, too smart, too strong, too good at everything for this to happen to him. Tears welled in Stalker's eyes as he looked around, searching for whoever did this. It was Strawberry. It must be. They were fighting, and now she isn't at his side. He spotted her some feet away, leaning over, back turned to Fang's body. Probably wiping the blood off onto the snow. A rage was building up in Stalker, I must avenge my father, and now is the perfect time to strike with her back turned to me. He crept closer and closer, until he was able to pounce on her. He stayed low to the ground, aiming, and then...he leaped into the air, claws out, ready to land right ontop of her. Strawberry must've heard him though, because she whirled around, just in time for him to land on her. He pinned her down, "You killed my father!" "Stalker-" Strawberry began. "I don't want an explanation! I already know that he attacked first! Or at least that's what Mimime says. I don't want to know why. All I know is that you kept going, you didn't stop at beating him and bringing him to his senses! You killed him and were going to flee the scene or lie to us!" Stalker roared. Strawberry's eyes welled with tears, and she opened her mouth to talk. There's nothing you can say that will change my mind. He held one of his fangs to her neck, ready to deliever the final blow. (This is the best screenshot of this scene that I have. Things didn't exactly happen in game as they did in the story. But this story I'm weaving makes sense and has the same outcomes as the mad bug-fix scramble that truely occured. Also all characters and creatures mentioned in the story did actually exist in game after I increased their spawn rate with commands) "What's that thing?" Mimime asked, seeing the creature hanging in Strawberry's mouth. It was a small creature a little bigger than a rabbit, and odd looking too. It was obviously dead, blood entrenched its coat. Strawberry just stood there, sadness and anxiety in her eyes. Stalker's eyes betrayed greif. Neither of them seemed to be able to speak. "Where's Fang?" Run broke the silence. She seemed to be coming out of the depression she had been in with how alert she was. Mimime would've been glad, if not for the answer, or lack of it. "What's going on?" asked Mimime. "My father..." began Stalker, tears slipping down his face, "has left us." "Fang would never leave!" roared Run, getting up in Stalker's face before Mimime could stop her. "Run," Mimime said, putting her paw on Run's shoulder, "please, come sit next to me." Run whirled around, "why?" "My father didn't leave of his own will," Stalker said, "listen to Mimime." Run had a worried look in her eyes, a look of such confusion, but yet of knowing what she was missing. She nodded and stiffly walked back over to Mimime. She sat down. "Fang is...dead," Stalker said with a voice of greif. Run collapsed beside Mimime, she began sobbing and wouldn't stop. Poor Run, what a horrible day for her. First that male doing what he did, and now the one she loved is gone. Mimime tried her best to comfort the female, but she couldn't stop crying. She'll need to do that for a while. She's greiving. Mimime herself was shocked, Fang was so strong...nothing could've killed him apart from another saber. And I know who had the opportunity to do so, but I can't bring myself to believe it. Even in her deepest rage, my sister wouldn't do something like this. She isn't a killer. But Mimime couldn't help the doubt seeping in. Strawberry must've saw Mimime looking at her, "I-" Suddenly, Run stopped crying, "You killed him...you killed Fang!" This time Mimime was prepared and held her back. "Let me go!" cried Run. "You don't know what she killed Fang," cautioned Mimime. "I know she did it! They were fighting, remember?" Run argued. "Even if she did, does killing another member of our pack, someone else you care about, someone who helped raise you, help anything?" Mimime asked. "If she killed Fang she deserves to die!" Run yelled. "Give her a chance to explain herself first," Stalker cut in, surprising the two of them, "She has a tale she wants to tell you, and I myself don't know whether it's true or not. So I brought her to you instead of killing her myself." Mimime wasn't sure she liked this development. "Fang never attacked me," Strawberry said, "he was attacking this." She pointed to the creature at her feet. "He was hunting in the middle of a fight?" Mimime asked, not believing her sister. "No," said Strawberry, "it was going to attack me." "Attack you?" scoffed Run, "That thing's so small it couldn't hurt a saber if it tried!" "That's what I thought, but it has fangs-" "Fangs?" interrupted Run, "oh yes, it does. Tiny ones!" "Yes, but deadly. When it bit Fang-" "So you blame Fang's death on a tiny critter with tiny teeth? What a story!" Run scoffed. "It's true," came a voice. Mimime whirled around to see a male more red than her. Bright red, a coloring that would've made her laugh another time. He also had a long nose, and his fangs were small and short. One of them had the tip broken off. "And who are you?" growled Run. "A saber who usually runs alone. But I like to observe any others from afar. I heard an argument while I was hunting voles and went to check it out." said the red male. "What's a vole?" Mimime asked. "A little critter smaller than a rabbit. They often burrow underneath the snow in these parts. Anyways, I saw that there Poison Fanged Stripy Vole get jumped by a male with a black coat. Then they fought that thing, but it bit the male a couple times. A couple bites of poison from one of those things causes some serious illness. It certainly did for the black furred fella." "I don't believe you!" said Run struggling against Mimime's grasp, "Strawberry could've told you to say this!" "Well I'm just saying what I truely saw. Anyways I ran off once the fella died. But then I heard this and I had to go check out the second argument. Can't just let the only pack on the mountain kill eachother till nothing's left." "Why-I don't believe you and I don't care! I'm going to avenge Fang!" Run screamed. "Run," said Stalker. She looked at him, crying, "You believe this male? You believe Strawberry? You don't want to avenge your father?" "If my father truely died to save Strawberry, killing her would be wasting his sacrifice. It would be spitting on his grave. I don't want to risk it. I won't ever fully trust her, but I can't wonder my whole life if I spit on my father's grave," Stalker replied. "Fine then," said Run, "I'm leaving." Mimime grabbed her, "Wait until your cubs are born." "Cubs?" asked Run, confused. "Yes...I think you'll probably have some soon..." Mimime tried not to bring up again what happened earlier. "Oh..." said Run, "fine. And you can have them when they are. I don't want to be reminded...of this day." Stalker and Strawberry looked confused, but their faces said they didn't want to ask. Taisra poked her head out of the hotsprings, "Can I come out now?" "Yes," said Mimime, unsure what the future held for this poor cub. For their whole pack that was falling apart.
  5. Oh no!!!! Don't do it Ghost! Lead them the wrong way! Also what is Horizon going to do to the rest of the group? The way she said it makes me fearful for them...
  6. 101? Pfft, that's nothing! I have like 130 nichelings not dalmations Congratz on completing the challenge! Those are some beautiful nicheling dalmations!
  7. This challenge seems really hard. Like it doesn't at first glance but then whenever someone plays it they end up going extinct or teetering on the brink of extinction
  8. What were defender bears? I don't think I was playing Niche in the period that they existed so I've only ever heard of them. What was their purpose and why did everyone hate them so much?
  9. Will it be like our solar system where one planet has life on it? Or maybe it's a solar system with no intellegent life that humans or something else goes and explores/settles?
  10. Also I did start playing, I'm not skipping my turn it will just take a bit. I don't remember exactly how many days I've done so far but I'll try and wrap my turn up this week.
  11. This looks interesting and I'll br following it. Do you know how to take screenshots?
  12. This is a good suggestion. Maybe one for killing a balance bear too
  13. "90% of problems occur when you breath...No breathing no problem(s)"
  14. Day 12 The Argument "My time is coming soon," said Strawberry, "and I want this pack to be able to go on without me." "Of course," said Fang, "we will." "No," said Strawberry, "you don't understand. I want this pack to continue for generations." We may be the only pack left. "I'm sure we will," Fang assured, "but what does this have to do with me?" "Don't play dumb with me," Strawberry said, "I've seen the way Run looks at you. It has everything to do with you." "I'm not the only male in this pack," spat Fang, getting defensive all the sudden. "And you think your son is ready?" asked Strawberry. "No," said Fang at a growl, "but Run is so young and I'm so old. It wouldn't and shouldn't work." "I feared you would react this way. I wanted to see you two happy together, but you don't allow it. So then, age is the only factor? Would it work with someone older?" Strawberry pushed. "You mean yourself," Fang jumped on that right away. "Not neccesarily-" Strawberry was cut off. "So that's what this is about! You pretend to care about Run's feelings, but really that's a cover so you can ask for cubs yourself," Fang spat in a raised voice. "How dare you accuse me of such a thing!" yelled Strawberry, "I raised Run ever since her pack perished. She is like a cub of my own. But it's no use letting both of our dreams die just because of your unwillingness to commit!" Run heard the yelling, everyone did, are they in danger? She began to run up the hill. "Stop!" called Mimime, and Run turned around. "I'll go check on them," Mimime said. "But why?" Run said, "If they're in danger we should all go." "If they were in danger, my sister would've called us herself. There's a stump up there," Mimime explained. "What's the yelling about, then?" Run asked, confused, are they fighting? But why? "I don't know," said Mimime, "but I will go check. I'm more stealthy than you, and Stalker needs to keep the cub busy." "Fine," said an annoyed Run, what if Fang is in trouble? I want to be there. But she figured there was no use, she trusted Mimime to come and get them if there was something they could do to help. (Sorry this look isn't too in line with the story, but it's the best screenshot of this scene I have. I originally planned a different plot line but I had to improvise when bugs hit) Mimime snuck behind the stump, around the side. She listened carefully, making no noise. "But it is not because I am unwilling to commit!" she could tell Fang was struggling to keep his cool, just from his voice. "I think it is, you are afraid to commit to any sort of romantic relationship! What if it wasn't commital at all?" Strawberry suggested. "I am not that kind of male! I'm no stud! I was commited to my mate!" Mimime peeked over the stump to see Fang's eyes aflame with rage, and something else, worry? Anxiety? Fear? Dread, dread and fear. "Then it's not commitment, it's being afraid to loose again. But doesn't Run deserve a chance at what you once felt?" Strawberry pushed. "Don't pretend this is about Run's feelings," said Fang, "this is still about you. You know I would never go for being with Run, you're still hoping I might chance it with someone I care less about." "No," said Strawberry, "I want you and Run to be together. So Stalker can see you happy again, and know what a family looks like." "My son is my first priority! Love will only distract me," Fang's voice raised slightly, but nothing like before. Then, as Strawberry again opened her mouth, Fang flew at her, claws poised in the air to strike. Mimime turned around and ran as fast as she could back toward the others. They had to get up here and break this thing up. They just had to.
  15. Days 9-12 Surprises Encased in Ice The rock ice thing continued to crack until finally the pieces seperated and fell to the ground. When that happened it revealed a carcass, some sort of elk or deer it appeared. Run was so hungry that she immediately took a bite. She shivered, the meat was cold! But she chewed it none-the-less and swallowed. The second bite was warmer than the first, and soon she was chowing down. Fang who was beside her began tearing off meat chunks and throwing them to the others. Then, she heard a squeak, she looked up, is there a rabbit or other small animal around? "What is it?" asked Mimime. "I heard something," said Run, "but I don't smell or see anything." She took another bite. Then, the carcass moved. I must be seeing things. But it moved again. Run backed up quickly, food still in her mouth. "Momma?" It's talking! How can that be? Maybe the dead animal came back to life and is after me! I was eating it after all. Then it moved again, and a head popped out from under the carcass. Run screamed. The head retreated back under the carcass. "Run! Why did you scare them?" Strawberry asked. "But-but-scared? I'm the one who's scared!" Run retorted. "Why? It's just a cub!" Mimime was quite annoyed. "A cub?" Now that she thought about it, the head did look suspiciously like the head of a cub. "Yes, a cub!" said Mimime, "Now the poor thing is terrified!" "What did you do that for?" asked Strawberry. Run deflated, completely embarressed, what was Fang thinking of her now? She risked a peak over at him. To her surprise, he defended her, "Don't be so hard on her." "She terrified a poor cub for no apparent reason," said Mimime. "She probably thought the animal was coming alive again to haunt her," said Fang. Not only is he defending me, he really understands! "What kind of weird thought is that?" said Mimime, "And how do you know what she was thinking?" "Is this true Run?" asked Strawberry. "Yes," Run said quietly, it sounds so ridiculous. Mimime began to laugh. "You don't have to be so mean," retorted Stalker. Run blinked, I didn't expect to have so many defending me. Honestly I don't deserve it. "I am sorry for scaring the cub." Run said, then she turned to Strawberry, "Do you think you can coax it out?" "I'll try my best," Strawberry said. After a few minutes, the cub crawled out again, "Momma?" it asked, more cautious this time. "Yes," said Strawberry, "I will be your momma. Do you have a name?" "Taisra," said the cub, "momma said name, Taisra. Before bad things." Strawberry nodded, "Come on Taisra, welcome to our pack. You don't have to be afraid." The cub eyed Run nervously, "Sorry little cub, I didn't mean to scare you." The cub scampered behind Strawberry, growling a little bit. It had been a few days since they'd found Taisra, and this morning, Stalker felt cold. His teeth chattered and he felt stiff. "Are you c-c-cold?" he asked Mimime. "No, but I bet you are!" Mimime said. "I-I'm no-" Stalker decided it was best to be truthful, even as much as Mimime got on his nerves, "How did you know?" "There's only one saber at your side, and that's me! You need at least one on either side to be able to huddle and stay warm properly. The snow and cold wind on your one side is chilling you," she explained. Now that he thought about it, he was alot colder on the side opposite Mimime. Even the warm pool on his one side couldn't warm him enough because the other side had no warmth at all. "Humph," he said, not wanting to admit she was right, "well, can I move up to huddle with you and Run?" "Of course," said Mimime, smirking. Stalker flicked his ears in annoyance as he walked up into the greater throng of bodies. "I want to talk to Fang for a minute," said Strawberry. Stalker's father looked surprised, "Go ahead." "No, I mean in private," Strawberry replied. Stalker was quite confused, and a bit worried. Fang nodded. Strawberry turned and said to the group, "Keep an eye on Taisra for me," and to Taisra she said, "stay here with aunt Mimime and your friend Stalker." "And scary?" she asked, peering at Run. "And Run too," said Strawberry, "she's your sister, remember? She isn't that scary." Taisra didn't look convinced, but she nodded. As Strawberry and Fang went up the hill, out of sight, she scampered over to Stalker. "Play?" Stalker began to play tag with the cub, putting away his worry about his father. He can hold his own, right?
  16. Also u should edit the quote, it still says the bad word
  17. (That's sort of the reason, but she didn't even know Fang was dead yet so...Imma say he was a double clawed rogue male, he was sick too so that explains why he'd be a rogue
  18. (So sorry! I changed it is it better?
  19. Well, it worked! Actually, apparently it didn't even have to be a home island animal, just one spawned in with the command. Though home island animals did spawn as well. I couldn't invite one in so I killed them. I still don't know if I could invite one in after that, but I found a wanderer and I just decided to try it and right away it was fixed. Unfortunately I killed a beautiful home island baby, and Fang died of old age in the process. Also Run got sick from a wanderer and got others sick too but they are all cured now. I had Run breed with a wanderer and will probably say he was a sort of rogue male....same one she got sick from. I know that's low but Fang was dead and I can't imagine she'd ever love anyone else. At least I don't have to delete the save now, and we have a new member.
  20. No, I don't think so. My storymode save has always been slot 1 (or 0). I don't remember all the saves that have been in this slot, but I don't think a storymode save ever was because I've only ever made one. Unless I downloaded and played a storymode save of someone in that slot, but I don't remember doing so. I will try the playeranimal command and hope it works.)
  21. Sometimes the keyboard you're using can do that. Try using another keyboard or mapping the keys to get rid of their natural function
  22. (But if I use playeranimal they will be home island animals??)
