(And here I was thinking there could be two separate empires for long. Three nichelings can never defeat 10, the Burning Empire is walking straight to their deaths. Valiant, (even though they're the bad guys), but stupid. Maybe their goal is to kill Blood and retreat though, in which case they may have a better shot)

Prisidon glanced at Ruta, and seeing that he was asleep, stared out into the darkness, scanning the grasses.

"What happened?" asked Constellationkit, confused.

Mistykit looked at the bigger cat who wasn't her mother in fear, despite what he said. She stared at the strange new cat with wide eyes, still as a rock.

So far the leaders of 1 and 3 are only 1 vote ahead and #2 is a horse race!

"I'll take it," said Prisidon, "I can't sleep anyways."

Rata fell asleep under Brimstone's watchful eye, he was just too tired to stay up and try and sneak away, despite his efforts to stay awake. * Prisidon couldn't sleep. He was too busy being worried. He figured he might as well stop trying, so he opened his eyes. He went to check on his brother and Brimstone @Cookboi who was guarding both Ruta and the camp. (Imma go take a shower now, I may be back when I'm done but go ahead and respond to these)

Rata decided to sleep there, where he would be safe...hopefully.

(Rikyuma has been sent a prophetic dream from God and Kirlur will probably die, good to know. Also was just checking in back to schoolwork I go.)

But the sun was setting. It would be dark soon, and he wouldn't see much of anything and would have to rely on his other senses. They were trained too, but never-the-less the thought of loosing a sense made him nervous. He was getting tired too, especially after the ordeal. Perhaps he would find a place to camp for the night. He listened, looked, and smelled, trying to figure which way would be best to find food and avoid danger.

Here's the big blue jay flying over my tribe of cats (he counts as a bird LOL): Here's her first family of birds (Para and Duko the mating paur and their chick): Baby birb with her mom: Robin and Starling, another mating pair: Each birb in her tribe rn and their genes: (BTW we did allow platypus beak so she could have duck nichelings and they are also allowed to eat fish because there are birds that do so. We kinda expanded it beyond parrots to make food a bit easier since you can see we're struggling with that and my sister is kinda new to niche. Also we thought it would be cool to have all sorts of birbs)

So I went into the savefile just to get these pictures. Should I post just the birds here or the cats as well? I'm thinking I'm going to write up the cat challenge we're doing to post on the forums so others can try it as well and I could post the bird pics here and the cat pics there, or I could post both here and there, or post both here and no pics there, ect.

@da1sy I rewrote it) Terracotta and Kirlur had volunteered to go find Meadow and Rata. Prisidon objected at first, but he was eventually convinced someone should be sent. He wouldn't allow Kirlur to go, however, and sent Terracotta alone. Seeing as the group was already split up enough already, they postponed splitting up until the group was back together again. So Prisidon was head of the group and they were scouting for a good place to camp for the night. They had found a place with two berry bushes and a permanent nest not too far into the jungle, and decided it would be good, when they noticed Kirlur was missing. Prisidon called for her, but there was no answer. They searched around, careful not to wander too far so they wouldn't get lost themselves, but nothing. Prisidon thought she must've left in order to help look for Meadow and Rata against his wishes, since she hadn't been too happy about being forced to stay with the group. He comforted himself thinking she would find them and be back in the morning. She knew how to take care of herself, right? * Ruta was upset Kirlur didn't take him with her, or at least tell him she'd be gone. She was out exploring and roaming the jungle looking for the lost nichelings, while he was stuck here with his stressed out brother gathering berries and grass to prepare to sleep. He thought perhaps he could sneak away too, but Prisidon watched him like a hawk, and had told Brimstone to do so when he couldn't. Then again, he was getting tired, maybe he'd have more energy to run off and explore tomorrow.

-Move Mekir jumped out of the water as fast as he could and back onto the bank, running away from the river before turning around to see what his new foe was up to.
