bursting through the trees, partridge gently dropped the supplies on the grass, sitting down. they gave a start as they saw a deer apparently staring at them. "ah, hello there!" they tilted their head to the side.

This odd creature appeared deltarunish, but friendly enough. It also had some materials that would've been more useful before the tepee was completed. At least they could use it to improve the tepee tomorrow, or maybe for nest lining for warmth. "Nice materials. I guess you could join us. Our fire is petering out but we do have a tepee shelter."

partridge whimpered and, picking up some of the supplies in their beak, cantered back to camp. they were feeling tired, but forced themselves to keep going, stumbling over their own feet several times.

Whitetail peered into the fog worriedly as she smelled and heard something approaching. She tried to make out its shape.

(ALSO, something to mention that I kinda forgot to mention before- please mention me when you have your character go to sleep for the night, or you want to vote on a character. For voting, you can also pm me!)

(I think a few already did go to sleep, (not inclduing Astraion who went to sleep and then woke up again). I will be sure to tag you when Whitetail does!)

Tyler draped the tarp between two trees, making a sort of roof over where he was going to sleep.
Good enough. He thought as he laid down.

"Nice work sold- err I mean group." Whitetail corrected akwardly, she wasn't used to being in a non-military group.

"Didn't you hear it? It's so loud... Ughhhhh, it stinks here too! I'll have to put down some scent markers soon." Astraion grumbled some more. "At least it's not winter's end, that would be a terrible time."

Whitetail was impressed by his senses. She felt a bit inferior, not having heard much of anything. She did, however, smell everything around her very well. Each of the sentient creatures smelled quite different from eachother. She wanted to ask what 'winter's end' was, but she figured now was no time for chit-chat.

As you make your camp, the sky gets darker and darker. The fire starts to die out.

It gets more and more difficult to see.

You feel drowsy as the fog seems to get heavier and heavier.

Maybe this is where you should call it a night...

(I was gonna go to sleep when the shelter was done...but then someone screamed and Astraion heard it. Does everyone just get knocked out all the sudden?))

"Well we should go..." Whitetail blinked, feeling drowsy, "look for whoever screamed..." she looked around, it was hard to see at all anymore, the fog had gotten so thick. What's going on? How did it get so hard to see so fast?

Astraion was woken up by the distant screeching due to his hearing being better than the others'. He felt somewhat murderous and groaned in annoyance.

"Who is screaming so loudly? It's night and I'm tired..." He whined

In his defense, he had not had a full rest since like 3 days

Whitetail was about to ask the...person thing...to elaborate when she heard the antler-crowned deltarunish creature grumbling. She should really ask his name. "Someone's screaming?" she asked, instantly alert.

did i really just get complimented by a deer.

"No problem, where'd you learn to tie a knot like that?"

    “Okay uh, what now?”

"Ugh.." she lifted her head and stared at her. "Fine."

Jayden stood up and walked over to Tyler to help with the sticks and tarp. "Where did you find the tarp anyways?..." she muttered. "Okay," she raised her voice back to normal. "What now?"

"That looks good," she said, "Now lean it up against that tree."

"Nice work! Uh...other person. These things should come in handy."

"Why don't you guys lean the sticks up against the tree next to the other sticks that have been tied together? And we can lay the tarp ontop once we tie them all together using..." she rumaged in the bushes for a few minutes and came out with a vine in her teeth. "This." She pulled it until until a section snapped and came loose.

Tyler emerged from the woods again, carrying a bunch of tall sticks and a tarp. "I found these. We can use them for a tent or a blanket or something to shelter us."

Jayden spaced out and put her head on her knees, the crackling fire warming her back and making her drowsy.

(yeah I know our characters should go to sleep so the first murder can happen ....

honestly not exactly sure how to make a tepee anyway, though I'm pretty sure tying sticks together is the first step)

"Person, are you going to help? This was your idea."

(Maybe Green should reply to these? Or I or everyone could roll to see if we find anything useful)

I'm quoting Green cause I can't tag rn for some reason))

“I have a hair tie in my pocket.”

Whitetail didn't know what that was. After a moment of hesitation she stopped rumaging and walked over to the flower-head guy (she still doesn't know anybodys names lol, it kinda fits her) "Let me see that." (How big is this hair tie? Is there anything special bout it?)

  11. 9 hours ago, Avokiddo said:

"Einar protects me. He's not going to leave until I die and more." Astraion tilted his head, noticing Whitetail staring at his antlers

She thought that statement odd...of course if she wasn't dead she had just cheated death herself somehow. She akwardly cleared her throat as he tilted his head. Maybe I'll ask him more about Warrior Einar and where he came from later...

“this place is really misty so I think if we went out now we’d never find our way back.” he said, stuffing his hands back in his pockets.

"You're absolutely correct." She said, realizing that the fog was why she couldn't see with the clarity she usually could at night, "Like the person said, we should build a shelter for those of us not used to sleeping out in the elements. The best, fastest, way is probably to construct a lean-to. But gathering materials in this fog could prove hazzardous. Nobody should go beyond seeing range of the fire."

  12. 6 minutes ago, ItzFadeDaSpooky said:

"nest...? Oh. Right. That sounds terribly uncomfortable. Also, how the hell does a literal animal speak? Still confused about that...."

"Back in the Fawn Nation almost all people are dead, so I'm quite confused about your existance myself. But if you'd really like a shelter I could help. I did have to learn how to build one back when I was trained, and I do use the skill occasionally."

    (gn btw going to bed)

"Yeah. Whatever it is, we might have to figure it out tomorrow. I'm no expert but it seems like the sun is setting- or close to start setting. Do we have shelter for the night?"

(I thought it was already dark...im stupid lol. Anyways, let's say it's sunset)

She liked the practical sense of this person, "Perhaps we should map out the area in the morning." She said, remembering that people didn't have the best night vision. "I see a fire has been started, at least. We could probably rig something up for the night, but it may be best for everyone to just make a nest for themself to lie in. We don't know how long we'll be at this temporary camp." She was also used to sleeping in the brush under the stars. Fawns usually didn't bother themselves with such things...especially in war-time.

“I don’t think it was sudden amnesia, I know someone who has amnesia and this isn’t what it’s like, at least, I don’t think it is.” He said.

"So we don't know how we got here..." great, but that doesn't matter anyway. We have to focus on survival...and maybe figuring out where we are so we can leave. "We could explore a bit, map out the land. At least then we'll know more about this place and where we are." Should I even help this group that seem so similair to deltaruners? How can I trust anyone anyway? But she felt somewhat responsible for the leaderless group. Everyone seemed just as confused and scared as she was. Though of course she'd never show it.
