  1. Honestly this whole thing started when I was like: "We should have all the original clans represented in the lineage cause they're all cool that would be cool." And then "Yeah cause it wouldn't rlly be Remnant Clan otherwise cause there wouldn't be a remnant of all the clans that died." And then I realized that couldn't happen cause Turtlemist wouldn't betray the code to have kits as a medicine cat. So I had to think of a good reason that he would have kits And I was like "Oh a message from Star Clan that would do it! But it would have to be pretty important and it should apply to everyone not just Turtlemist." And thus it was born and I rlly didn't think about what it meant or what the wrath of star clan even was it just sounded good (by good I mean dramatic) Now I'm thinking that it probably has something to do with the Star Clan cats who were from the clan of the cat with no decendants. It probably has to do with Star Clan fighting amongst themselves or that clan fading from the ranks of Star Clan and so Star Clan cannot protect the cats as well. Or that clan of Star Clan cats tries to kill off the rest of the living cats to prevent themselves from fading into...wherever cats go after Star Clan. Or maybe all of Star Clan are attacking the living cats just to avenge the clan that now is forever faded from existance even in the afterlife. I don't really know for sure.
  2. (I mean in the books Star Clan only tells like one or 2 cats prophecies and they have to figure out what it means and do something about it. Like Firestar being the only one to have the vision about Tiger and Lion meeting in battle and blood ruling the forest. Also IDK why Fernstar wasn't telling Redfish he needed to hurry up and have children I guess she assumed that since he was in love with Snowbridge they'd get together eventually. Also she probably doesn't realise how old Redfish really is It's pretty much worked out all right the way Fernstar has descreetly dealt with it. Tho she coulda told everyone if she wanted to. Redfish is now the only one of the original 6 who hasn't had kits. Oh wait nvm Rootclaw exists but Fernstar is preggo so)

    My dreams

(man that sounds cursed Cool that u had a niche dream tho I had one once that was much less cursed where there were more features and the creatures did some stuff on their own I think)
  4. The Choice Moon 19 Redfish had helped Rootclaw carve up enough meat for everyone to eat. Then they has stashed the fox carcass in the snow. Him and Snowbridge were eating a chunk of fox meat together. They were talking and laughing. By now the word had gotten around the whole camp that they were mates. Redfish didn't mind at all. All that mattered is that Snowbridge loved him. "One day we'll tell our kits how the clan ate a fox once," she purred. This made him worried. Would he be able to have kits? Why hadn't the strange cat appeared again? Would he live to meet them, and to see them grow up? Turtlemist had come to Fernstar to talk about greencough. With the weather getting colder and snow on the ground, it was more likely for cats to catch it, he said. What if I get greencough? "Is everything alright?" asked Snowbridge, worry in her eyes. "It's just...I won't be here forever. I may have retire soon and I don't know how long before..." "Before you go to join Star Clan?" she finished for him. "Right," he said. "I know that," she told him, "I know we may not have much time together, but that's only a reason to treasure every moment we do have." She began to groom him. She was taking it better than him, "I just...want you to be happy." "I am happy," she purred, "and Star Clan willing, we still have moons to spend together. And I will see you again in Star Clan no matter what." Her words soothed him, but still he worried deep down. - Redfish was in the place of tall trees again. "Hello again," said the strange cat, "congradulations on you and Snowbridge becoming mates." "Well it seems I didn't need your help after all," Redfish said, turning to face the cat. "I did help," said the cat, bristling. "I told you not to!" hissed Redfish. "I wanted to be with her only if she loved me! Not because-" "She did love you," growled the cat, "she just needed a little nudge. She's like you, too afraid of rejection to tell the other cat how she feels. It would've been very sad for two cats to die having always loved eachother but never showing it. So I did something." Redfish still had his fur bristled, but his tone was more even, "Thanks I guess. But now I don't need your help anymore." The cat looked offended, "Wrong, dead wrong, Redfish," he hissed, "you and Snowbridge may be mates, but what use is it if you retire to the elder den? You're around that age where your body begins to get weaker and give out. You won't be able to carry on with your warrior and deputy duties. Gone will be the days of hunting with Snowbridge and patrolling with Rootclaw, fighting for your clan, organizing patrols, and so on. You won't be able to be alone with your mate outside of camp. Not to mention that you're past your kit bearing years. And more is at stake than your mate's dreams of having them. Have you forgotten about the Wrath of Star Clan?" Suddenly the strange cat was gone, and Redfish was standing in front of two paths. "What's going on?" he asked, confused. "Come and see," said a starry cat, walking past him toward the path to the right. Redfish followed. As he walked upon the path, he began to have horrible visions. He saw his clan mates. They were afraid. Some of them were dead, others were running or fighting. Blood was everywhere. He couldn't see what had caused this. But their yowls of fear echoed in his mind. "What is this?" he asked the starry cat, frightened. "The wrath of Star Clan," they replied. After a minute more of watching the terrifying scene, he closed his eyes to it all, shaking. And then he wasn't there anymore. He opened his eyes, he was back at the path. The starry cat was standing next to the other path. It beckoned him to come with its tail. Redfish slowly padded toward the path. Walking along the path, he had another vision. He was standing in a dark, cold place. The starry cat was next to him, and in the sky stars shed light onto the dark place. Then he saw a cat. Its eyes gleamed with hatred and its fur radiated shadow. "Who is that?" he asked the starry cat. The cat did not reply, but slowly began to fade. The stars in the sky also started to dim, "Don't leave me!" he wailed. But they continued to leave. Now it was pitch black. He could not even see the shadow cat. But then he saw a glowing cat, and from its light he could dimly see. He walked toward it, wanting to see better. But then he spotted the shadow cat. It pounced on the glowing cat and bit down on its neck. Redfish ran toward them, but he was too late. The light was dimming already as the glowing cat slumped. And to his horror, now that he was close, he recognized the shadow cat. It was himself. He ran from the scene, trying to forget. But it was again pitch black. He tripped over something. Standing, he spotted another light right ahead of him, brighter than before. He ran toward it, and saw it was another glowing cat. He also realised he knew and cared about this cat, but he couldn't see who it was beneath the light it radiated. Then he spotted another cat, this one radiated shadow. It looked similair to him, but not the same. It pounced at the glowing cat, but this one was ready. The two fought in a whirling fury of claws. The fighting style of the cat was also similair to his. Then he realized as he caught a glimpse of the cat that it looked like Snowbridge too...it was her kit, his kit. And now the glowing cat had it pinned. It was afraid. But then another cat leapt at the glowing cat. It was strong and sleek, and looked like him, but younger, about the age of the other one. It quickly sank its fangs into the glowing cats neck and raked its claws down its back as the pinned cat raked its claws down the glowing cats belly. He realized as the glowing cat began to slump that the new cat was his son. Then the glowing cats light faded, and it was pitch black. He stood again before the two paths, "Choose." "I choose neither!" he hissed at the starry cat. The starry cat's eyes shone with sympathy, "Place a paw upon each path and see what happens." Redfish hesitated, and the cat nudged him forward. He walked toward the path to the right. He put a paw upon it and immediately his strength drained out of him. He felt weak and terrified. He heard Snowbridge crying. "I can't," he heard himself say. "Will he be alright?" he heard Snowbridge ask. "He's going downhill fast, I'll try but there's not much I can do," Turtlemist answered. "Fernstar must appoint the new deputy before moonhigh," said Rootclaw, voice ladden with grief. "What can I do?" asked Fernstar. "There is nothing you can do," said a strange voice. "I failed! I failed my clan!" Fernstar yowled. And then came the noises from the vision of the Wrath of Star Clan. Redfish could barely take his paw off the path. It took all his strength just to do that. He sat there for a minute, panting, breathing fast, and crying, and another minute to try and recover his strength. But he still felt weak. Shuddering, he backed away from the path. "Come," said the starry cat, he looked to see them standing by the other path. Redfish dragged himself over. He dreaded seeing what the other path would bring, but he went out of the hope that it would be better. Putting his paw upon the path, strength surged into him. Strength and power. He felt invincible. "What have you done?" Snowbridge screamed at him. But he barely cared. And that terrified him. He realized his heart was drowning in hatred. But then he heard a she-cat say, "It doesn't matter what they say. Father, you did the right thing." And he saw her, it was the cat the glowing cat had pinned. His daughter. And beside her was his son. Darkness permeated from him. He had blood on his muzzle and his paws. He dipped his head to Redfish in respect. He saw them playing as kits. But then he saw them killing the glowing cat. His heart was torn. He knew that they would never exist if he chose to face the wrath of Star Clan. But if they did exist, who would they kill? What evil would they do? He saw before him the paths again. "Choose," said the starry cat. "But I can't!" "You must," said the starry cat.
  5. (I'd also add the Knight class who defend the royals and dukes and duchesses and also chase off rogues and unwanted wanderers, fight wars if there are any, and fight any predators such as bearyenas And maybe Peace Keepers (police), Merchants (slightly higher class than peasants that is a stepping stone to noblehood and thats it sole purpose), and Explorers (those who go beyond the kingdom walls to explore new lands, often exploring groups are headed by a noble and made up of peasants Oh and Prisoners! This challenge is actually pretty simple but can be added to in so many ways and could be added to so many other playthroughs I will probably add it to one of mine)
  6. (so every time they get a new life stage u roll for if they die? Or is it every time their life is threatened (sickness, predator damage, etc)?
  7. (that's alright! life happens. Hope ur feeling better now! Being sick sucks)
  8. (I hear you! I will try and name one of their kits Bluekit if it fits one of them at all. Also that would be epic, Redfish, Bluekit, color family)
  9. (imma play it as them mating just after the fox fight, since all these moons of the fox fight are combined into one)
  10. "Look at this big cashew!" "It's cute." "I ate it." "BABY KILLER!"
  11. Camp Defended Moon 19 The fox turned around and ran away. Good thing, too, I don't want to kill another. As Fernstar spun around to get back in the fray, she spotted something light brown sticking up from the ground. She paused, and when she looked closely she could just barely make out a light brown cat huddled in a hole. Curiosity shone in its eyes. She wondered if she should speak to the cat, but as it saw her looking at it, its eyes sparked with fear, and it jumped out of the hole and darted away. That's when she recognized it as the kit she had saved from the hawk. (ignore the rogue male that Redfish chased off) An opportunistic hawk hovered above, but Lightkit would protect his friend no matter what. They huddled against the nursery wall, Lightkit covering Stonekit and fluffing themself up to look bigger than they were. The hawk circled a couple times, but then thought better of it and flew away. Maybe I'll be made an apprentice now! Wait till Fernstar hears about this! His mother was now screaming so he didn't want to tell her about it now...maybe later when she stopped screaming...if she stopped screaming. Rootclaw barely noticed his many injuries as he raked his claws down the fox's side. Its friend had latched onto his leg, but soon he heard a yelp behind him and it let go. He dug his hind legs in to prevent the fox from shaking him off. Fernstar slammed into the fox as it pinned Turtlemist. She did it with such force that a sickening crack occured, and the fox fell limp to the ground. Shaking, Fernstar slowly stood. I did it again, it's dead. "You did what you had to do," said Redfish gently. "That's the last of them! We defended our camp!" said Rootclaw proudly, oblivious, before noticing Fernstar's demeanor, "What's wrong?" "It's just...I didn't mean to kill them," said Fernstar. "You had to," said Rootclaw, "to defend Turtlemist and the kits. It nearly got into the nursery, there was no other way." Fernstar sat there for a minute, silent, and then she said, "You're right. There wasn't. But now we must not waste the meat. We are struggling to catch prey at the moment." "Eat a fox?" said Turtlemist, obviously disgusted. "Yes," said Fernstar bristling, "Unless you'd rather let the kits starve. Shiningsun needs enough milk to feed them." Turtlemist didn't say anything more. "Divide up the carcass," she told Rootclaw, and to Redfish she said, "go check on the other carcass." To her dismay, he reported back, "The remaining foxes are eating it!" "The vermin! They don't even respect their own! We should chase them off and eat it ourselves," Rootclaw suggested. "It might contain diseases though," cautioned Turtlemist, overhearing the conversation. "Then let them have it. If they think it right to eat their own, who are we to judge them?" She pictured the starving foxes they had fought to keep out of their camp. We've taken their prey and kept them from eating us, so I'm not taking away their last chance of survival, however grizzly it may be.
  12. The Foxes Moon 19 Fernstar rushed after Rootclaw, her mind racing. Hopefully after a few scratches and bites the foxes would turn tail and run. Foxes weren't usually the kind to stick around if they couldn't get an easy meal. But when she saw them fighting with such desperation, their skin clinging to their bones, she knew it wouldn't be an easy fight. They had been stopped at the camp entrance by Snowbridge and Redfish, but one was already attempting to dart past Snowbridge into camp. Fernstar jumped on it and sank her teeth into its neck. It tried to shake her off, but with no success. She raked her claws down its back and it whimpered, its shaking growing weaker. She then let go of its neck and slid off it's back. She expected it to go running the other way. Instead it limped forward, eyes shining with determination. She had no choice but to attack again. She pulled its tail and it yelped, but tried to rush forward into camp. She jumped on its back again and raked its sides. It whimpered and attempted to snap at her, but it couldn't reach her. Then it crumpled to the ground. She jumped off immediately, looking around to see if one of her clan mates needed help, but Snowbridge was handling a fox fine on her own, Redfish was chasing one off...and for the moment she saw no others. She turned back to the fox and saw its eyes had clouded over. It's dead, I killed it. She felt a peculiar grief and guilt. It wasn't another cat, and it had been determined to kill a kit, but she felt like taking its life had somehow been wrong. She noted that never before had she had to kill a predator, only chase them off... But this fox couldn't be deterred. It was desperate, it was starving. It and its clan. She realized for the first time that their arrival here had taken up prey that had been the foxes before. This had probably been their territory. We've been eating their food, starving them. She heard a yowl of victory. Then Redfish came back into view, "That fox won't be coming back any time soon!" Fernstar nodded solemnly. "What's wrong?" he asked, concerned. She pointed to the carcass next to her. "Oh...it is an odd thing to kill a predator," he said sympathetically, "I had to do it once before." "Thanks Redfish," she said, "what would I do without you?" Her deputy nodded and gave her shoulder a quick lick before launching back into the fray. "But I'm old enough to be an apprentice!" protested Lightkit, "Why can't I help fight the foxes?" "You haven't been made an apprentice yet," scolded Turtlemist, "if you attack the foxes in spite of that, you may never be made one!" "Really?" asked Stonekit with wide eyes. "No, fur-brain, they can't do that!" Lightkit told the younger kit. "Be patient Lightkit, you'll be made an apprentice soon enough," purred a very pregnant Shiningsun, "in the mean time, you must listen to me. And I say you can't fight the foxes. You have no training, you can't battle without battle training to assist you." "But I want-" Suddenly, Shiningsun let out a gasp and then a groan, grimacing. Her bedding got soaked. Lightkit gazed at the scene in horror, "Mom?!" "She'll be alright," said Turtlemist, "I'll take care of her. You two wait- play in the corner." Just when they thought the battle was won more foxes rushed out of the darkness. A couple of them ran right past the fighting cats into camp. Redfish leapt at one and clawed its face. At first, Snowdrift thought the red pelt she had seen between the white pelts of the foxes was Redfish or Fernstar, but then she realized the cat wasn't fighting the foxes. It was gazing at her in a way that creeped her out. She shuddered and ran toward Fernstar and Redfish. (so uh pretend this doesn't happen atm I had to do it to protect Snowbridge from rogue male) Redfish assured Snowbridge everything was going to be alright and went to look for the strange tom that had stared at her. He didn't have to go far, because he was following Snowbridge! He felt a spark of rage and jealousy in his chest. They didn't have time to deal with rogues right now! He charged at the rogue. The rogue looked surprised, and he turned and fled. Good. I hope you never come back!
  13. The Bait Moon 19 Fernstar had ordered Rootclaw to be on guard duty that morning. So Redfish and Snowbridge went on hunting patrol together. Redfish was nervous. Snowbridge had been avoiding him for the past week, and the strange cat had not appeared to him again. He longed to twin their tails together and purr at eachother like Fernstar and Rootclaw did, but he knew that she could very well reject him. And if she did he couldn't blame her. He was approaching elder age. He would be in many ways a burden to her. Yet he also remembered well the last time he had feelings like this. He had never confessed to the she-cat, being so nervous and not knowing what to do, and she had died. He couldn't let that happen again! But other times he realized that HE was the one who would die first. If she loved him it would hurt much the same way he had hurt. Maybe if he never confessed she would never have feelings for him and she wouldn't get hurt. But what if she did and she was hiding hers too? Then she would be hurt like he had been! There were no easy answers... A mouse scurried away as he absentmindedly walked along, bringing him back to the present. Snowbridge tried to catch up to it, but it made it to the rocks and disappeared from view, "Tadpoles!" she exclaimed. It was an expression like mouse dung that only Snowbridge used. "I-I'm sorry," stuttered Redfish, embarrassed, "I should've payed attention." "I-it's a-alright," she seemed embarrassed too, "what were you thinking about?" His heart beat fast, I want to tell her but I don't want to tell her. He stood there looking stupid. "I-s everything...alright?" "Yeah it's just..." I love you but I'm afraid to tell you. She padded up to him and licked his shoulder. Then she sat next to him, "What do you want to tell me?" "No-nothing!" he said, jumping back. She looked confused and hurt. "I-I-I'm sorry! I-I didn't mean to hurt you," he said, almost in a whisper. She stood there, looking unsure. Suddenly, a flash of white caught his eye. Instinctively he chased after it, and within a matter of seconds he caught up and killed the rabbit with a swift bite. He brought it back and put it at Snowbridge's feet, "For you." "Shouldn't we bring this back to camp?" she asked. He blushed and averted his gaze, "Oh, right." Suddenly she was next to him, his tail twined with his, "I don't want the silly rabbit. I want you." For a minute he couldn't speak, then he purred, "I want you too." And I don't need that strange cat to get you, because you love me anyways. They sat there for a few minutes, purring and grooming eachother. Until.... "MOMMA!" a shrill cry broke the peaceful scene. "Did you hear that?" said an alarmed Snowbridge, jumping up. "Yes I-" "MOMMA!" the yell came again, louder. Redfish got to his feet, "Let's go see what it is." They walked toward the cries which kept coming until they spotted a little brown form huddled on the mountain rock. "MOMMA!" it mewled. It was a tiny kit calling for it's mother. Fernstar was surprised when she saw Redfish and Snowbridge. "It's cries carried that far?" "Yes," said Snowbridge. "Gather your prey and head back to camp. Me and Rootclaw will see what we can do to help the poor thing," ordered Fernstar. Once they had gone she cautiously padded toward the kit, "Hello little one-" "DANGER!" screamed the kit, and it scurried away as fast as a mouse. Rootclaw tried to block the kit's path but it scurried down toward the beach instead. "Don't scare the poor thing!" she growled at her mate, amazed at his rashness. "I'm sorry," he replied, guiltily, "I thought I could slow it down so you could pick it up." She sighed, "it's alright, let's try again." Just then, she heard a deafening screech in the sky. "Hawk!" yelled Rootclaw. Fernstar rushed forward with all her speed and strength, and leaped toward the kit. Miraculously reaching them, she covered the kit with her body. He squeaked in fear and squirmed underneath her, trying to get away, she flattened herself further against the ground, trapping the kit for its own good. After what seemed like forever, Rootclaw called the coast clear. Cautiously, Fernstar got up, ready to grab the kit. But the kit scratched her muzzle with needle claws and scurried away. Frustrated, Fernstar was still about to try again when Rootclaw ran up to her panting, "There's foxes attacking the camp!" (Meanwhile, Lightkit has grown and is protecting his younger playmate Stonekit from the hawk)
  14. I'm not @mhiahia but I think it's alright since Lizardcake and I are doing one (or something similar) and many others have done so in the past when this first became a thing. Also u don't have to but u could adopt some nichelings from here to start you off: ANd feel free to submit nichelings to here too or just discuss your programme or other's programmes. It's not just for my programme to adopt out nichelings, it is for everyobody's programme!
  15. (pretty sure it makes it plural yeah AWWW THEYRE SO CUTE)
  16. I did that before in my storymode playthrough too it sucked
  17. Here are the profiles (complete with DNA sample analysis) of the young adult creatures born in our Savanna Exploration and Experimentation Plan that we have deemed not completely suited for the task of exploring and examining the creatures of the Burning Savanna where we are currently stationed. If unclaimed, some may go to zoos, others may remain at the Burning Savanna regardless as the transition from wild to zoo life wouldn't suit them. @HOLD THE MAYONNAISE and anyone else who has rehabilitation or observation programmes or run a zoo are welcome to claim nichelings as well. Please only claim 3 or less to start to give others the chance to claim some of them. Thank you. Here is our most prolific breeding pair so far! This unlikely pairing has developed into a regular mateship and even romance (you can see the rogue male has only mated with Drone 2!). They have 4 children, 3 of which are ready to go to their new homes. Meisel is the eldest. She is adventurous and bold. She is the most independent of her siblings, though she is responsible for watching the younger ones sometimes. As a child she was threatened by a bearyena but through the efforts of her mother, her mother's best friend, and her father she was not even attacked. The incident hasn't made her timid, rather she will defend anyone she loves with great gusto. Best suited to a rehabilitation programme, observation programme (where she is apart of the nichelings being observed), or the being kept on the island she is now Age: newly gemmed adult +7 (10 in my game but urs probably has longer lifespans) Tame is second eldest. She was threatened by a bearyena as a child and attacked by that bearyena as a teenager. She is thus timid and cautious. She looks up to her older sister Meisel, but has an unbreakable bond with her younger sister Komira. She will fight to defend her younger sister, despite her timid nature. She is worried about her sister's illness and looks after her because of it. Is adventurous and loves to explore with Komira or Meisel. Whoever takes her must take her sister Komira with her as well, she would be devastated and confused if separated from her. Best suited to an observation programme, rehabilitation programme, or a zoo. Age: Newly gemmed+4 days She was never threatened by a bearyena like her siblings, but she is threatened by the sickness she was born with. She has an inferiority complex. She loves and looks up to her bigger sister Tame. She feels her parents don't love her. She is adventurous when around Tame, but timid all other times. Whoever takes her must take Tame as well. Because of her sickness she will have the longest life expectancy in a zoo, though it may be possible to cure it at least temporarily to give her a better chance in the wild. Age: Newly Gemmed+1 day The other nichelings ready to be released into the wild are the offspring of a wanderer. (dad's genes) Drone 7 fell in love with this wanderer and was the first to have children with him. These are her children: The youngest of her mother's children thus far. Rais is fairly sedentary and wants to settle down and start a family. She also likes to stock up on food. She isn't the best at gathering it herself, but she is good at managing resources. Best suited to a rehabilitation programme or a zoo Age: Newly gemmed adult Memi is the eldest child of her mother. She has a strong relationship with her and her father. But she also is adventurous. She likes to hunt. She is kinda naive. Best suited to a rehabilitation programme, an observation programme, or staying on the island she's on. Age: Newly gemmed adult+1 day Drone 8 was less sure about breeding with a wanderer but she wanted some children so she gave it a shot. She nested in a tree. She had twins! She has a close bond with her twin Elme. They are adventurous and get into all sorts of trouble together. She is the follower of the two, though she disagrees with her sister on plenty! Lara likes to hunt. Naïve. Would prefer that she and Elme stay together. Best suited for anything except a zoo Age: Newly Gemmed Adult Has a close bond with her twin Lara. She is the unofficial leader and leads them into trouble a lot. She likes to fight and dreams of killing a bearyena. Rash and quick to rush into things. Would prefer that she and Lara stay together. Best suited for anything except a zoo (though she might cause some problems wherever she goes!) Age: Newly Gemmed Adult
  18. Feel free to post any nichelings from your own rehabilitation, observation, or experimentation playthroughs or zoos (either playthroughs or threads of nichelings from your own programmes that have been taken out of them or from this or other exchanges) or those you wish to gift to one of the above. Try and RP that u have ur own programme the nicheling is from even if you don't. Once a nicheling has been adopted/used please do not use that same nicheling yourself. There should only be one person using a nicheling at a time (cannon wise anyways). You may only claim up to 3 nichelings per day to give others a chance to claim them. Provide some personality to your nichelings when you submit them if you can. You must provide the genes of the nicheling or at least a screenshot of them. A drawing with genes drawn/written might be sufficient. You may post requests looking for nichelings for your programmes or experiments or zoos. You can submit in any way you like, but as a guideline here is a form you may alter: Picture/genes Name (optional if in the screenshot, including their number if they have one) Background (optional) Personality (may be combined with background) Names/screenshots of parents (optional, you may put this first and then list all the offspring from that pair you are offering for adoption) What would be the ideal situation for them (zoo, rehabilitation programme, staying on their home island, etc) Age (since different people have different age settings, it may be best to say middle-aged adult, or teen+ (days past turning a teen)) Relationships (optional) Anything else relevant that you can think of!
  19. (oops! Well imma make a thread just for exchanging nichelings now that I think about it... don't reply here to what I just wrote requesting nichelings)
  20. (I have some nichelingss to give u hold up a sec)
  21. (cat)
  22. oooooo she's so pretty!
  23. (My answer is way more complicated......) So basically, there would be different versions of multiplayer. Public servers where anyone could join and its practical chaos IMEANWHAT (maybe there could be moderators of it that work for the Stray Fawn company) Semi-public where anyone can join but there is an owner and they can ban ppl and moderate and Private where only those invited by the owner/with the passkey can join Oh and Local where you play on the same device and pass it back and forth Each player would have their own tribe. The tribes would sorta function/interact with eachother like this: Although tribe relations would probably be decided by the game (attacking members of a tribe decreases/gives negative relations, trade and treaties increases/makes positive relations) or both players (through treaties/react buttons or chat?) instead of just kept track of for lore/rp like in single player. Also if u wanted to invite a player from another tribe the person who owned that tribe would have to agree (though there may be a small chance of the creature rebelling and joining your tribe anyways). And you'd be able to trade something they want for new members of your tribe as explained in the above-linked post, so that would have a much higher chance of succeeding. Each tribe would have their own symbol/name that would appear in place or next to the animal name so you know which tribe you would be interacting with. The owner of the server gets to decide how many nichelings people who join can start with, whether they have to be wanderers or members of other tribes, or whether you can spawn in starting creatures for your tribe, (and if so whether they will have random genes or genes of the new player's choosing). In Private and Local games the owner can make this different for each player (because it is likely they know you and you set up the world for a purpose), in Public and Semi-public servers this wouldn't be the case (to prevent unfairness). Treaties would probably work by interacting with a member of the tribe and pressing a "treaty button" and pulling up a treaty menu in which are treaty options. You can also gift nesting material and food (and maybe nichelings to the tribe as apart of the treaty I mean there's nothing else to trade in Niche so I guess u can trade slaves ). Each side can agree to as many treaty options as they like and then when they both confirm the treaty is sent to both of them saying what concessions they give up and get (for example, Tribe A won't attack Tribe B's nichelings. Tribe B agrees to move territories. Whether a treaty has been kept can be verified by the game or by players who agreed to it. Or maybe some things the game can verify (like whether tribe A attacked a nicheling of Tribe B) and other things are too difficult and must be verified by the players (like whether Tribe B actually moved territories). Of course this may be too complicated so this could be simplified or done away with. And yeah, that's about it.
