Will niche continue to receive updates or are the devs pretty much done with it?

I love dice and often roll them when I can't decide on a specific story thing in my tribe or want to spice up my game. So I love this concept!
I'm working on a new tribe, with blind genes, and even more rolls then before. I doubt it will gain much interests but it something really fun.

Four Young Niche-lings sit on the edge of the port to a small Island, they are the after math of storm- No not just a storm, The Aftermath of a God's Wrath. They are what's left of the Minoore tribe. Exhausted and stranded, and this is their story. (day 0)
The largest of the young niche-lings opens his eye's first, he's silent as he examines his surroundings. After a few moments he flattens the grass patch and stares at the blue niche-ling that's beside, him, his widening in surprise.
The second Niche-ling to open their eyes, is the horned female, who's approach to the situation is not as calm as the larger male.
???: Oh My God. What's happening, it was a dream! I SHOULD BE AWAKE NOW. Why am I still in my DREAM!
???: Why would you dream about our tribe being drowned? That's a little strange.
???: You're one to talk, you just decided to watch us all sleep. After what has happened, I'M THE WEIRD ONE? *Her eye's begin to build up tears, and she can't help but feel irrational and angry*
The Male stays quiet, and rests his body onto the ground, not bothering to stay on watch over the group any longer. The Horned Niche-ling looks at her paws for a moment as she regains composure.
???: My Name is Tulippe, I am from The Deciduous region of Minoore.
???: My name is Vankirku, I'm of the Conifer region. Blessings be with you. (This is a greeting of the minoore tribe, as well as a farewell term)
???: Blessings to you both, I am Seeralisa, Everren Region* The, now, awoken water bodied niche-lings whispers*
Vankirku and Tulippe whips their heads to look at the resting Seeralisa forgetting that there were two other nichelings. The group sit in silence for a few moments when the final, blue bodied, nicheling awakens and hops up and looks around quickly before locking his sights on Vankirku, and tumbling towards him.
???: VANKIR! Is it just you, we're you able bring Tilia? Who are these guys?
The group talks about their situation, sharing their accounts of the Tsunami that ended their tribe, and learning that the blue niche-ling's name is Rennir, and that he and Vankir(ku) had been Denmates on Minoore. Denmates are pups with different parents that raised their children in groups, to establish strong bonds and loyalty and to tie them to the tribe.
R: So what do we do now?
T: Well, it's obvious. We continue our tribe, we are the legacy.
And with that the Minoore tribe gets to work, first order of business: Food. The Day is spent digging up roots for Vankir and Rennir as Tulippe heads towards two nearby berry bushes and Seeralisa flattens some grass. This is the only the beginning of the Minoore stories.
HELLO, Author Here. This was a lot of story for one day, and I can promise I definitely won't write something for everyday especially because it'd be so much dialogue, that's just not worth writing AND these niche-lings will live for a while. I'm writing this playthrough but it also wont be long before I post a link to the story of my secondary play through which will be a challenge with nichelings that have shorter life spans, and alot less plot armor then nichelings in this series have. Btw pls read my other playthrough when it's out and tell me ur thoughts ab it and the Minoore Tribe

The First Dangers (11-20 days in)
Soon, Lula grows into a teen. She sticks her trunk into the snow, and pulls out a slightly-wet root.
T: "Woah! How'd you do that!?"
Truffle sniffs at the patch of dirt with curiosity.
L: "It's pretty easy. If you had a trunk like I do, I could show you. But you can also dig with your paws."
Truffle hops back into the hotspring. The cold snow makes her paws tingle.
Meanwhile, Brownie feels uneasy as she gazes into the darkness. Is something going on out there?
OH NO
Brownie hears a terrible fate over on the mountain. They had wandered into the territory of a great predator! A few short nichelings were currently fighting it, but the fat white bear looked hungry.
B: "RUN. NOW."
Truffle was confused as her sister dragged them down the snowy slope. Then, she caught a whiff of the bear.
Lula found it hard to keep up with her frogfeet.
Then, Lula spots something over the snow, and starts freaking out. Is that what they're running from? A chunk of horned, walking blubber?
Or, the giant bear looming over them from its territory?
Probably the bear.
The thick snow made it very hard to get down the mountain. And when the grim reaper is chasing you, that's all the more terrifying.
L: "How are we gonna get away from that thing!?"
B: "Just keep running! Don't ask questions!"
Brownie and Truffle grew into adults, though not in the best of situations.
Meanwhile, the flesh-monster had made its way down to our party, and started sniffing at Lula, who flinched away.
L: "What is this thing?"
T: "I have no idea, but it might be hungry, too."
As the weird deer left our heroes, they noticed the bear again, and continued our amazingly undetailed chase scene.
OH NO
Seems like the blubber-deer had been running for a reason.
T: "We're surrounded! Where do we go!?"
B: "Just keep going! When the snow starts melting we can get away! hopefully."
Lula was frozen in fear for a minute before sprinting away from the gruesome beasts. She had never dealt with these monsters before!
As Lula became an adult, two strange males also showed up. Too encapsulated in the threat at hand, our heroes paid little attention to them.
One of them approached Truffle, and tried to become her mate.
T: "This is not the time to ask me to be your mate. Also those giant bears are super friendly go ask them instead."
B: "No they're not! Run away!"
The male left.
OH CRAP- OH NO OH C R A P I didn't even use increasespawn command what are the chances
T: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA There's another!"
B: "Uhh- just- keep going! I'll figure something out!"
Lula squeaked, but there was a bit more hurry in her steps.
The land between our heroes and freezing over was shortening. And with 3 hungry bears chasing the trio, how will they survive?
cliffhanger time wahahaha

So, I did this short documentation of the start of this specific tribe, sort of adding in story like elements and a few pics. This was super fun to make but a bit time consuming, but it'd be cool to know if anyone would be interested in this sort of storytelling. Pls tell me Ur thoughts, or feel free to make comments in the actual presentation.

The Rakoa Tribe: Some documenting of the first days of a randomized Generator Challenge- likely to be discontinued.

I had initially decided to continue the tribe and just go to far to catch up, it became much less of a story and turned it me just cultivating a tribe a many many niche-lings, I might update by putting in pictures of the best of the third generation but otherwise It's really hard to continue from where i left off without having created a whole new tribe. But maybe I'll feel the inspiration to revisit the descendants of Mira and Dukkirvan, and recreate a new story for them.
