  1. So the drone editor has this thing called toggle tag bindings, what do they do? I've tried assigning tags to stuff at random but I can;t figure out what tags are, how they work, or anything else.
  2. Every time you attempt to edit a drone with a speed sensor, the sensor will set its value to the nearest multiple of 10 (0, 10, 20, . . . , 140, 150). For example, I have a logic system that requires a speed sensor set to 1. If I launch the drone it will work properly. If I launch it again, it will still work properly. If I click edit and do not manually set the sensor to 1 before hitting Save and Exit the drone will not work properly when I launch because the sensor will have set itself to 0,
  3. I would love to see the alpha right now.
  4. You can get some pretty interesting results using dynamic thrusters. I've created a drone that essentially increases thrust until it is equal to gravity, at which point it maintains power. The effect is your ship is hovering in place despite the effect of gravity. There is a second set of thrusters as well if you want to move up or down, and these do not affect the dynamic thrusters. If you watch the background grid in the gif below, you'll notice that the ship starts out falling but stops completely. I've saved the base logic system, which I'll attach below in case anyone wants it. Sadly, it tends to have slightly more upward thrust than gravity has downward pull, but this effect is less noticeable as the drone gains mass. When the base logic system alone flies, it will have a noticeable upwards movement, but when the drone in the gif above is flying, you can't detect any upward force because of how massive the ship is. **To activate the logic system for the dynamic thrusters, you have to press Alpha4(4, located above E and R)** HorizontalLockBase.nimbatusdrone
  5. So I noticed that the demo isn't saving my highscores for the battle arena, and I decided instead we could share our highscores here. The game offers rewards for up to wave 3, but in the future I think they should scale up the difficulty of waves more and add more rewards. It would give players more of an incentive to play in the battle arena, and maybe if it had more stages it would be more fun. Anyhow, my high score is 625.15 seconds, I almost made it to wave 22.
  6. How do springs work? I can't seem to figure them out through experimenting either. Also, I understand how to use magnets to deflect rockets, but is there any way to not deflect your own rockets? What are the best settings for magnets for blocking rockets?
  7. I found a rocket shotgun with homing so I've had fun with a drone that has 32 of them loaded onto it. But that wasn't enough, so I made an even bigger drone with 68 rocket shotguns which will drop my framerate any time I shoot it
