  2. The scientist laughed. "Brilliant! It appears that these abilities are triggered during severe emotion distress or discomfort! Ha! Amazing!" "Yeah, great... Sullivain repeated, not amused at all. The room was still pitch black, but Sullivain could see the scientist's face light up. "Someone get the girl. Quickly! Yes, the light one. Find here and bring her out on stage. Now!" he hissed. Perfect. Teamwork. Hurray. Sullivain thought
  3. Sullivain whirled around and saw Jayden standing to the side, confusion written all over her face. The scientist man was still talking. "Reverse this immediately, otherwise, we will have a full-blown panic on our hands." "Uh, slight problem. I don't know how." Sullivain replied. "What did you do to start this?" The scientist asked. Sullivain shrugged. "I'm not sure. The lights were too bright and I felt uncomfortable and then everything just went dark." he replied.

  9. Sullivain watched as the scientist man stumbled over to the podium and made an announcement. "Please remain calm, it's just a malfunction in the generator room. We have crews working to fix it right now. Please remain calm." The second he stepped away from the microphone, he turned to Sullivain and said. "This is not a generator malfunction. I believe you somehow did this." Sullivain laughed hysterically. "So you're saying I somehow broke all the lights. By the way, am I losing it or something? I can see perfectly fine right now." The scientist laughed. "Amazing! So the serum has already started to take effect! Wonderful!" "I hardly call breaking every light in this room wonderful." Sullivain stated.
  10. The lights were too bright. Way too bright. Sullivain started sweating, from nervousness or the lights he didn't know. Probably nervousness, but he refused to accept that. With no choice, he walked towards the center of the stage. He saw Cedric flash a thumbs up out of the corner of his eye. The scientist man's way too cherry smile had returned. He couldn't focus on anything. He just wanted to leave. He needed to find the Cure, he knew it was out there. But sadly, this serum was the only way he could get close to Gaia without getting killed too. "Sullivain?" he was snapped out of his daze. He put on a fake smile. "Yes?" "The Q&A portion will now commence." and with that, the flood gates of chaos gave through. Thousands of people began screaming out questions. "Did the serum hurt?" "What's your power?" "Aren't you a teenager?" "Are you single?" "You're telling us were sending kids to save the world?" He sighed and turned to the scientist, who gave him the ever helpful smile. Sullivain gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. Do people ever shut up? he thought. He knew they were excited, but he had no clue how to answer these questions when he had no clue what the answers were to half of them. He didn't know what was happening. He never got nervous, but yet, he could feel his body turning cold. Or hot? He couldn't tell. The lights were still too bright. He took a deep breath, and faked confidence, but it was no use. Suddenly, everyone began screaming. "It's the Earthborns! They've come for us!" one man cried. "Where are the lights!" another woman yelled. Uh, Sullivain, where did the lights go? He heard Cedric yell. The only problem was Sullivain could see perfectly fine.
  11. When the crowd of makeup techs finally dispersed, Sullivain turned around and looked in a mirror. He didn't think he looked half bad. Whatever the people did, his emerald green eyes stood out more than usual. His eyelashes looked more full and his face looked toned and healthy. He could have sworn he saw Cedric's half translucent face turn pink. He should have known that peace wouldn't last. He looked over at the stage as the lights dimmed and the scientist man from earlier stepped up to the podium, and began talking about peace and hope for the world or something. Soon, a group of people were shoving Sullivain towards the stage. "Now, I would like to introduce to you the new hope for our world. The first ever humans to successfully accept the serums we designed. I present to you, our first interviewee, Sullivain the Shadow-Man!" "You cannot be serious. I did not agree to this name." Sullivain snapped as Cedric burst out laughing. His distractedness gave the people the opportunity to push him out onto the stage next to the man.
  12. Sullivain groaned as tons of people approached him, throwing makeup and powder in his face as they ushered him behind a curtain. He could see a podium on stage, and an audience full of people. He gulped nervously. What have I gotten myself into? Hey, pretty boy. Cedric chimed in. Sullivain's face flushed red. I don't think I've ever seen you in makeup before. This is a change I could get used to. Cedric began floating around all the people surrounding Sullivain, poking and prodding his face. "Stop touching me." he muttered under his breath. He was grateful that there was so much chaos that only Cedric heard that. He frowned but backed off. "Where are the others?" a shrill voice announced. "They should be here in a minute or so." another voice replied. Crap, I forgot about the others. That Jayden girl didn't seem so bad, but having to do an interview or announcement or anything with Angel is going to be awkward... he thought.
  13. He was very torn about the clothes he had been given. Instead of casual clothes or even a suit, he had been given an outfit that looks like something Doctor Strange would wear. It consisted of a black sleeveless coat that reached his ankles, and a black, gray, and white detailed jumpsuit, with a belt. Sullivain had no choice but to put it on. When he turned around, Cedric broke out laughing. Dude, you look like a knockoff Avenger. Who designed these anyways? Sullivain shrugged. "Look, I did not plan on dressing like an 8-year-old on Halloween, but the sooner we go, the sooner I can burn this outfit so let's go." He opened the door and followed the person down corridor after corridor, until they arrived at a huge autitorium.
  14. time to obsess over yet another fictional character and turn my entire forums presence into thus character
  15. Sullivain and Cedric passed the time while eating the cafeteria food Cedric had taken. Well, Sullivain did. Cedric mostly whined the entire time that he wasn't able to eat any of the pound cake he had grabbed. Soon enough, a loud, shrill knock sounded on his door. Cedric jumped and fell off the bed, because despite being a ghost, he was still as clumsy as any 17 year old boy. "Mr. Sullivain, it is time to report to the conference hall. Please change into these clothes and follow me." Sullivain didn't recognize the voice, and stumbled out of the bed and picked up the outfit which had been slipped through the mail slot on his door.
  16. Sullivain watched as she walked away. Cedric floated back towards him, holding a stack of food, which was drawing strange looks from the people in the halls. "Nice job being inconspicuous." Sullivain teased. Hey, I was hungry. Even if I can't eat this, its nice to look at all this well-made food. Cedric replied. "Well at least let me hold it, so the poor people looking at this aren't questioning their sanity." Sullivain offered. Cedric stuck up his nose. Well excuse me for wanting to be a gentleman. They both walked back towards Sullivain's room, waiting until it was time for that conference or whatever they had to attend.
  17. (so i guess everyone wants this back then. lemme reread posts and we can continue)
  18. Sullivain chuckled. "Guess we're kind of opposites then." He looked over to see Cedric messing with other people in the cafe, taking their trays and silverware and taking their food, though he couldn't eat it to his dissapointment.
  19. Sullivain nodded. "Yeah, Shadow, I think. You?"
