Kamado smiled. "I'll see you when you wake up, and we'll begin."

"You can feel it, can't you?" Kamado asked. "The power coursing through your veins. You will make your so called 'friends' regret leaving you behind."

"Follow me." the scientist smiled. She led Cedar into the lab and motioned for him to sit down in a chair. She then held up a very scary looking syringe filled with golden liquid. "Don't worry." she smiled. "This will only hurt for a little bit." She injected Cedar in the arm.

“Ah!” Kamado said. “We’re here.” He knocked on the door three times and 2 very scary and official looking scientists walked out. They bowed at Kamado and eyed Cedar. “Is he the one?” One of the scientists asked. Kamado nodded. The other scientist rushed back through the door. The remaining scientist nodded. “Good, this way sweetie.” She smiled.

“You’ll see.” Kamado gave Cedar and evil smile.

Kamado laughed. "You amuse me Cedar. According to the other kingdoms, using more than one element is a betrayal to your kingdom, and they consider it illegal. However, I see it as a tactical advantage. So, from now on, you will study fire magic and earth magic." he waved the purple and blue robed people away. "Cedar, this is Master Kapnos." the red robed woman bowed. "She is an expert in fire magic and will begin teaching you immediately. After the procedure, of course. Right this way Cedar." Kamado turned and led Cedar through a door behind his throne.

Kamado clapped his hands and 3 people walked out from behind his throne. They each wore different colored robes. One wore red, one wore purple, and one wore blue. They all bowed at Kamado. “I’ve reconsidered. Each one of these people are masters in a certain element. I am allowing you to choose the second element you wish to learn.” Kamado said.

Kamado stood up. “Now, about our deal.”

Kamado smirked. He waved a hand at Otto. "You can leave us." Otto thought about protesting but knew his place. "Yes." He did an awkward bow thing and walked outside the door. He didn't leave though; Otto kept his ear pressed against the wall trying to hear what Kamado had to say.

Kamado smiled. "Welcome! I hope you're adjusting nicely, Cedar."

Otto walked up the steps and stood in front of Kamado. Something's off here....

Kamado chuckled. "Come in! Come in!."

The door slid open automatically as Otto approached it. It opened to a huge dim-lit chamber. It was empty, except for the giant staircase lined with a red and gold carpet that extended from the door to the throne atop the staircase. “Hello, Cedar, Otto.” Kamado said from atop the throne. The fire braziers made his face illuminate in a creepy way.

backstory: space cowboy who died and came back to life on earth and is a doctor now.

“It’s ok, I’ll be here with you the entire time.” Otto smiled.

Otto led Cedar down a regal looking hall and stopped at an arch. Otto turned and flattened Cedar’s hair.

Iris stopped. Mindless? Oh no... do I loose control again? Does it get me killed? Oh no...

Otto chuckled. "Follow me." he smiled and lead Cedar down a bunch of hallways and corridors.

"Your hair!" Otto called. He followed Cedar out. "Oh nevermind."

Otto ruffled his hair again and giggled.

"I know, I was teasing." Otto ruffled Cedar's hair.
