TW-ish talks about blood (but it never actually happens so-) So we just finished dinner and I was abt to get back on my computer and during dinner we'd been talking about horror movies. So after dinner my dad decided to scare my sister by creeping around the corner, and when he scared her they both started laughing. But then my dad started coughing- like a lot- and went into the kitchen- and it sounded horrible. I didn't know what had happened so automatically my mind starts racing and I thought he might have been coughing up blood or dying or something. I was standing in the hallway and didn't want to see any of it but I had to hear it so it made it equally worse. After a few moments he said that when he laughed he actually literally INHALED the water he'd been drinking (so it probs went into his lungs and his body made him start coughing out the water) but I was genuinely scared for the few seconds he was coughing like he was dying. and now I'm kinda spooked 👍 but ye I'm abt to work on chapter 1 of Rise of The SilkWings but my motivation did a plop so I might go and draw or watch yt.

Feeling relieved, he purred lightly. "Thanks, Elkfur. That helps a lot." His ears flicked and he turned around to go locate the first dummy.

"No, I just forgot about the dummies.. I just......." he sighed. "I'm feeling super nervous, is the truth. I get weird looks every day and I'm afraid if I fail-.." He trailed off.

Rise of the SilkWings During the Tree Wars, the SilkWings, though they were supposed to be neutral, gained an unusual advantage over the HiveWings and decided to fight on behalf of the LeafWings...... and they won. Now they must choose between equality between the three tribes, or ruling over all of them. Lore :)) After a long moment of silence, a dark brown, orange, and green SilkWing sitting on the end of the table stood up regally. “I know it shouldn’t be my place to inform you, Queen Larrea, but it turns out that we have a new advantage that could change the course of this war.” Queen Larrea, a SilkWing with many shades of green on her scales, looked at the SilkWing who had spoken. “Go on, Acacia.” Acacia inhaled slowly, then exhaled. “We found evidence from the Book of Clearsight.” As she said this, gasps and whispers rose from around the table. She waited for silence, then continued. “Never once does it say that HiveWings should be in charge, but it rather states for us to live in equality. And it never says that LeafWings should be killed off, either. We can use this to overpower the HiveWings. They’ll likely turn on her.” Queen Larrea seemed to be deep in thought. “Very well. I want the word spread and done by tonight, and-” she looked over at a LeafWing. “We are now your allies, and we’ll help to keep your kind alive. As for what happens after we overpower the HiveWings….. We’ll speak about it after we beat them.” Acacia was proud of herself. Maybe this would be a changing point. Maybe, just maybe… she had changed the course of history for the whole of Pantala. And maybe she didn’t even know it. So, in this AU, the SilkWings are the more highly respected tribe, while HiveWings are less respected. LeafWings still live among them, and trees scatter the lands of Pantala. There is no breath of evil, but there is a group planning to overthrow the SilkWings, and possibly worse... He looked at the dummy, thinking about his next move for a moment. He sent his shadows through the bark of a tree nearby, and they shot out at the dummy and grappled it by it's scruff, then flung the dummy to the ground. That move had taken a decent chunk of energy from him.

-*turn to seawing* “Creature?”

He took a deep breath. He unsheathed his claws and dug them into the ground, letting his element creep underground to find anything... just anything... His shadow senses then wrapped around a log sitting in the shadows. He made sure to pay attention to the opponent in front of him and, then, when the time felt right, he let his shadow grab the log and fling it towards ____________ (his opponent).

His muscles were completely healed from the aching he had days earlier, but he was still nervous. How would they get assessed if nobody had seen his element before...?
