I get whatm you're saying, but medium body is actually medium, runners leg is surprisingly useful and short snout is completedly useless and mutating it is equal to mutating short sighted eyes

Okay, if short snout should be better: The suggested stats don't make sense. Why would it make the nicheling scentless, or help them collect fruit, or be more attractive? It'd be better if we thought of some similar short-muzzled animals and took inspiration from them.

Sorry I'm being so argumentative, I have a very strong opinion on this topic lol

Short Snout is the "basic" gene. It doesn't have special abilities because it's the "default".

Even Derp Snout has a special ability. There has to be a "default" gene that isn't very special-- like runner's paw (it gives a little extra speed, but that's not very useful in the early days with only a couple nichelings and only being able to walk as far as you can see), or medium body (not great for the cold, nor for the heat, unless you have another gene to help). That's why they're all unlocked initially--to give you something to try and mutate out bad genes, but you'll have to work harder to get better genes to do well.

Yes, but the derp snout is supposed to be the "worst one" yet it is more useful. So why give a more recessive snout less abilities.

Then what is the point of rogues having derp snout if it isn't the worst one.

Derp Snout is ugly. I can tolerate and even love my nichelings with Derp Snout, but I don't want them to have it. I would rather them have Short Snout (though I prefer Big Nose, not because of its extra smelling ability, but because I like its look more). And it's more fun without Distasteful Appearance. I can't properly sacrifice my deformed-paw nichelings when they have Derp Snout.

In conclusion: Short Snout is "default." It isn't supposed to have a special ability. It's that gene you put in the mutation menu because you hate Bat Head because it's ugly and creepy and needs to be exterminated when you don't have a better snout for it. And it's good for challenges, like the AHVHC 2 I'm making--It doesn't have a special ability which makes it harder to survive.

So yeah I'm sorry but downvote : (

  3. My Story-Mode save, a tribe named the Adamads has had 30+ leaders so far. The leaders are always the last leader's daughter, save for exceptions when there's no daughters and such. Their tribe's name comes from "Adam" - their first leader and ancestor of all - and "Nomad" - they don't stay on one island for too here's the first 10 of the leaders! (Uthkani didn't get a screenshot sadly)

Adam - Kind and wise, he founded the Adamads.

    Uthkani - Unknown.

Mindi - Optimistic and friendly, she began the journey across the archipelago.

Mabel - Bouncy and full of energy, she got the Adamads to the next mini island.

Chippa - Loved by all, she kept the tribe together and had several lovely children.

Emerr - Took the tribe to the next island. Almost forgotten by time.

Zarily - Adventurous and brave, she brought the tribe to the jungle.

Kol - Though she kept her tribe alive in the dangerous jungle, Annini did not grant her a daughter.

Benji - The first male leader, he was the first to worship the false goddess Hallie (born during Zarily's rule), and sacrificed his unwanted subjects to her.

Kyntry - Believing she was blessed by the Great Goddess Hallie, she snootily led the tribe in further worship.

  4. Attempt #5: day 78 right now, a bearyena came out of nowhere. I had 5 nichelings, including a baby. Bearyena killed the baby's dad and brother. The half-bearyena, pregnant mom ran but she had the sleeping sickness, luckily she was already a few tiles away. The bearyena killed the baby, and her uncle died of old age while trying to protect her. Now only the mom is left, she's trying to run to saftey to have her baby. R.I.P. Bungabaloo, Popfruit, Sole and Luia : ( let's hope Sulla can have her babe in peace

  5. In the bug and suggestion areas, replies can be marked as  "solved"/"implemented". I use that feature to mark things as answers (like confirming that something will never be a feature, or the solution for a problem). The solved count is how many replies you've made that were marked by a mod/dev as "solved"/"implemented" :)

  6. Sorry I got here late. Looks likes things have pretty much solved themselves.

I recommend putting in place a set of rules for the server (maybe make a board of signs at spawn?)--even if it's unlikely that anyone will break them (again), it will be a helpful reminder. And you can set some consequences too-- some things may be okay with a warning for first offenses, but temporary bans for others. For example, griefing (what Pancake did) could earn a week's ban from the server, along with more severe consequences if it happens again. Along with that would be an apology, and if possible a reconstruction by Pancake of the destroyed build, using their own materials. (If not, someone can go into creative and replace it.)

As an example-- once upon a time, I joined a Minecraft server. When I started off a staff member introduced me to the server. They actually went invisible and watched me, which I didn't know. I took someone's crops thinking "oh, I'll replace them, they'll grow back before they ever see it." I got a ban from the server, since I broke a rule so quickly. (I probably would have had less severe consequences if I'd been playing for a while and was more trusted.) (I cried for like 20 min lol) However, I was able to make a ban appeal on their forums, telling them that I was sorry, understood what was wrong, and would never do that again. They approved my appeal and I was able to come back in a week (it took them a while to get around to my appeal).

P.S. If another big fight happens, I recommend @ing Philo too. I'm online more and will help if I can, but I'm not very good at helping in big (active) fights like this one. Philo also actually knows what to do xD

Sky! Can I have a code for toyhouse or...?

Unfortunately only premium members can get codes, and I'm not one :( I found mine by looking up "free toyhouse codes", I found a reddit post that gave away some code--they were gone but I asked if they had any more and a day later they replied with the code!
