  1. @Philo This is the same bug that happened during the Preview, except it could happen to any Nicheling
  2. Tip: Try out Story Mode. At least go through the tutorial. You might already know how to play, but it might teach you something about movement controls you didn't know existed. Also, the cutscene at the beginning is awesome. Make sure you have your music on! (If you don't, you can find it on YouTube) Plus, just trying to get Adam's family Home is fun (It also gives you a nice goal to keep, if you like goals) Another tip: Extinguish bad eyesight and Digging paw. Digging paw may sometimes be useful, but I've had problems where I'll end up with Double Diggers (2 digging paw) and they can't do anything except dig.. which isn't that useful, honestly. Before yu even have your first baby, make sure the starters don't have bad eyesight, and put regular eyes in the mutation if they do.
  3. I'm not much into Seri's Warrior Cats series, but Ive been waiting since July for this Voltron season to come. IT'S GONNA COME TOOMORROOOWWW! Heh, my parents watch that. Edit: Oops, how could I have forgotten? I'm waiting for the WolfQuest video that's come come today, and every Thursday until the Anniversary Edition comes out. Whoop Whoop!!
  4. Whoo! I shall conquer this circular kingdom
  5. Uh, @Philo, it didn't really work. It just shows a thing that ends in the .png and when you click it it doesn't show the pictures.
  6. Awesome! My eyes are Blue-Green-Gray so of course I went to the mirror to see how gray they are. Nope, just a smidgen of gray. Still called Blue even though I call it Blue-Green-Gray. Imagine it as turquoise but with a pinch of gray. Still need my eye color in this game. Please. Maybe I should take a picture of my eyes and make a suggestion.. Edit: Nevermind, i found a picture of my eyes... apparently they're gray. Also, a bit of information on them.
  7. Yesssss. Imagine naming a Rogue Male so you know if he's new or not. Imagine naming your Friendly Bearyenas so you remember which is which. Imagine the possibilities.
  8. @PopsicleNinja Okay, okay, sorry. But, I mean, he's still wandering around, right?
  9. I mean, it's not really cursed, but here's a screenshot I just took of my tribe showing what's currently happening in my Whims of Fate challenge.. Note: Where it says 'Male's Albino Child', it's supposed to say Rouge Male. Also, that blank square isn't supposed to be there. Edit: Forgot to mention that Rareana is pregnant with that same Rouge Male's child.
  10. @RandomWanderer First of all, for the @(name) thing to work, you have to select the name from the list that appears when you type the name. If you did it right, the name should have a green box around it. Second. I would still want an in-game tribe limit that you can change any time, because if you want to have a specific limit as, let's say, 14, you could put in 14 and the game wouldn't let accidentally have more than 14 creatures at a time. I have a tribe of 40 something and I wish I kept it under 30. If I had this tribe limit on, then the game would have stopped me from getting more than 30 creatures. And, if I suddenly want to have 35, I could change it to 35, whenever I want to. It doesn't need to be tied to an event. It would be something that the player can choose to turn off or on or change the value of whenever they want, whether that be because of a rule in a challenge, or because they just want to make sure they don't get a big tribe.
  11. Well, I don't know if this counts as a challenge, but I did start a tribe in the Oasis. Luckily my starter male had Claw, but with the children he had, he never passed it on. He died quicker than he should have because, well, it's hard to tell what water your creatures will drown in and in what water they won't. After the starting female died, I started to lose hope. Then a Bearyena appeared. My poor creatures could do barely anything and would soon starve. Then, suddenly, a big-eared, double clawed, ram horned female appears. She's immediately invited into the tribe and takes the Bearyena out in THREE BLOWS. I proceeded to call her 'the savior of this tribe' and immediately thought of my favorite TV show, Once Upon a Time. (SPOILERS AHEAD if you watch OUAT but haven't finished it) I named her Emmai, her mate Killian, her kid with Killian Hope (because she was the hope of this tribe + another reason), her other mate whom she briefly had one child with Neal, and her kid with Neal Henry.
  12. @RandomWanderer ..What? I'm confused. 'had three claws on them'? Do you mean they were attacked three times? What did they run into? Why is 'Yay, free food!' an odd first thought? It's a good first thought!
  13. @RandomWanderer I think what Lilytuft means is that you would just put in a number and you wouldn't be able to have more creatures than that. The player would be able to choose what number to put in. Right, @Lilytuft?
  14. @DogCatCowPig @RandomWanderer @Lilytuft I don't know why, but I have the ability to make a green check mark appear on your comments on this post. For some reason there was one on @Lunerechos's comment. When I hover over the option to do it it says 'Set this to implemented.' Anyone know what this means exactly and why I have this mysterious power? @Philo?
  15. I love it when that happens On my most recent tribe that started out on the Oasis (tho now they're on an easy island to stock up on food), I found a female with one wing! I immediately invited her into my tribe, and as I started to move her to the otheer side of the river to a male with non-matching immunity genes, a wandering male appeared.. with non-matching immunity genes! I proceeded to invite him into the tribe and those two had many children before she passed away of old age
  16. But you can't edit your creatures or breed them outside of the main game--you would only be able to look at them and their genes and be able to export them.
  17. Once, in an old tribe that has long since been deleted, I killed a female wanderer so she wouldn't take my food. The next day, a Melanistic baby/teen shows up on the bones. I made that child an ORPHAN. My creatures had pity on her and invited her into the tribe. I felt so bad...
  18. It would be cool if you could store the creatures you like in your own library, then be able to send them to other players from there!
  19. I'm trying to do it, but I can't do an underscore, only a dash. Whatever I do on my keyboard, a underscore will not appear on that screen. However, I'm just fine when it's not on Niche. _______________________________________
  20. Sometimes I feel like it's more fun when there's not very much food, you know? When you have 1000 food and 40 Nichelings (like my tribe), you don't really feel like you're trying to survive, you're just trying to get cool creatures. What I propose is a adjustable bar that you can change any time that will adjust how much food each Nicheling takes from the food counter each time the day passes. So much food you don't know what to do with it? Make your creatures take 5 food a day. Want to just make the game a little tiny bit harder? Make your creatures take 2 food a day. Additionally, maybe you could adjust how much food a specific age of creature will take- you could have babies take 1, teens take 3, etc.
  21. Maybe it could be like in the Sims? We could adjust it specifically so, for example, Nichelings would live as babies for 5 days, Teens for 2, and Adults for 30.
  22. Whoo! I'm glad that we'll get the sandbox options, but I still hope the Breeder mode will be added one day By 'Customizable Animal names', does that mean: 1. you could rename all Bearyenas (example) 'Bob'; 2. Name a specific Rabbil (example) 'Arnold' but leave all other Rabbils named Rabbil; or 3. Make your Nichelings have names with colors and symbols and stuff? Also, what does 'Q1 2019' mean?
  23. @ChasingNyx If you're going INTO 7th grade, then we're probably about the same age! (I'm going into 7th as well)
  24. @Philo @ChasingNyx Thanks!
