  1. @Pokestardragacraft Whelp, unfortunately that means that can't be the problem for me because I have only ever used regular links. I just wanted to post a bug
  2. This happened to me too, and... erm... @Pokestardragacraft, what's an embedded link...?
  3. I'm not sure about Aspen trees, but as demonstrated by Ginnee and her father Fox (plus a couple more Nichelings)... ^^^ Fox and 2 other creatures are shaded by the Savannah tree. ^^^ Ginnee is NOT shaded, even though she is in the tile directly beside it (You can't see it very well in this photo, but you can see it in the pic above this one)! @Philo Why do other trees not give shade??
  4. So, uh, I'd like my achievements reset. (I'm not sure if I should post this as a topic or send a private message.) Since I started playing the game, I got the Globetrotter and Homecoming achievements, even though I didn't earn them. Since pretty much all of my achievements I already have won't be very hard to get again, I'd like them reset. One thing before you reset them: If I still have a save file past 250 days, will I get the achievement again once I pass the day on that save file, or do I have to play another 250 days after the achievement's reset? (Also, for anyone else who would want to get their achievements reset, feel free to comment here too) @Philo & @Micha, please!
  5. I feel like a Sharkidile was already suggested...
  6. This happens for me too, but it can happen to any one of my saves. I just have to close Niche and try again, and it usually works.
  7. Tell me: What are your favorite games? (This includes Niche and Nimbatus!) Mine are Niche, Cattails and Minecraft ^.^ (everyone does ^^, but I think ^.^ looks cuter ^.^) Though I do hope to get WolfQuest and Tyto: Ecology Soon (I'm about to play Nimbatus Closed Alpha for the first time so I can't put that on the list quite yet) I just got Cattails recently and just got married to Scout (I'm on Spring 9th, Year 1 right now) Edit: I just remembered! I also love Pokemon Y too ^.^ (I recently memorized the Pokemon center music. I've also memorized 5 of the Anime them songs ^.^) (^.^ is now my favorite emoji )
  8. Gills don't help with fishing in real life, so I doubt Gills would get +1 Fishing. I do agree that Poison Fangs should get something else, since it's useless if you have Scorpion Tail.
  9. Welcome to the forums, @didusca! Have you tried playing it yet? When I update my Niche, you just have to play the savefile in order for it to update. The game might update, but the savefiles have to be played for them to individually update.

    Names

Gonna bump this up so we can get some more names
  11. I want to draw some pictures of Nichelings, but I'm not sure how the ones with front limbs that aren't touching the ground would be used to walk, especially if they have double Deformed Paw. I tried drawing some quick sketches of ones with Deformed Paw, but they look like Dinosaurs. So, the question: If a Nicheling with, let's say, double Deformed Paw were standing up (is a position like they were on all four paws, even though their front ones don't touch the ground), what would they look like? Would they just walk like T-Rexs? Would they magically sprout limbs in order to walk and then de-sprout them once they stop? Clarification, please!
  12. How do you pronounce Niche (as in the name for the game, and not just the word in general)? When I look up the normal word on Google, it says it like 'nitch' but when I watch Seri! Pixel Biologist!'s videos, she says it like 'kneesh'. I've been saying it as 'kneesh', but now I'm not so sure. Clarification, please?
  13. Agreeing with @Lilytuft. My tribe that just got me the Still Alive! achievement has a lot of immunities. Whenever a wanderer comes, try and breed them in (If they have really bad genes, and you already have a good amount of immunities, don't bother. Just know that even the best wanderer usually has a few bad genes you don't want.). Recently I had to breed in a couple wanderers to get a couple more immunities, but now their descendants have some genes I don't want. But, eventually, I'll be able to lose them. Though it is hard to get bad genes out sometimes-- once I only had females and so when I found a Rouge Male I rejoiced, but then many more Rouge Males appeared after him, so now half the tribe is Albino, and another quarter carries it recessive!) I'm still hoping we'll find A Immunity again, since we lost it a while ago (I didn't even realize we lost it until there wasn't even a dead Nicheling on the Family Tree left with it)-- I've also lost F Immunity because I forgot to breed the one creature who had it (her father was a Rouge Male, and her mother was the daughter of a Rouge Male, so I kinda forgot that I was supposed to breed her even though she had bad genes. R.I.P. Koral ).
  14. I agree with @Sheireen. Maybe when it pops up again (they do that, right? I forgot), the stagmole will still have the damage from before, so if Rameana hit it again, it would die. Also, if it died from poison while in its hole, maybe you could dig it up with Digging ability. Rameana would finally be able to taste the sweet taste of stagmole
  15. I just looked at all the feature requests that didn't make the cut I really hope you'll let us rename our savefiles in the future anyways because it is REALLY annoying when your good savefile is called 'Anchient Tales'. Or when your 'Seekers' tribe didn't become a seeking tribe and just has a cool last-name system. Ech.
  16. The snout looks so CUTE! I just have one and name it Licky or something cute like that ❤️
  17. @JAM Pheonix I'll draw a picture later, but they look like the head and legs of an Axolotl. (just look it up)
  18. I present to you: the Axolotl Head and Axolotl Leg. Axolotl Head Stats: +Water breathing +2 Fishing Unlocked by: Inviting a creature with this gene into your tribe, Swimming 50 times, Fishing 50 times The head would look like an Axolotl's. Axolotl Leg: +2 Swimming +Regeneration (Explained below) Unlocked by: Inviting a creature with this gene into your tribe, Regenerating 20 times Regenerating: If a creature with Axolotl Leg is injured, the damage will not affect the creature's lifespan. Instead, it will 'cut off' the Axolotl Leg (if the creature has two, it will be random which one gets affected), making the creature like it doesn't have a leg there (not even a Deformed Paw). This will also take away the stats that the leg gives. After 5 days, the leg will be restored, along with it's stats. Note: If the creature is attacked after the leg has been 'cut off', and the creature does not have a second copy, the damage will be taken as it would normally.(i.e. takes some days off the creature's lifespan. Another note: The leg is only damaged if the creature's lifespan would be affected otherwise (i.e. if Defense would normally make an attack not affect the creature, then the leg will not be affected either.)
  19. @bostonlobstah Exactly! That what I've been trying to say
  20. MORE frequently?! One of my tribes is currently on an island with 8 Healing Fruits so far---they haven't even explored the whole island yet!
  21. I'm sorry, I'm addicted to sharing my creatures 😂 Nuduk, the creature with a heart on his forehead: And Vanro, the beautiful purrer (and my third ever):
  22. @Pokestardragacraft What about an option to show things on the little circles with the head and the name below it like: Gems colors (all three of them) (helpful for when you organize your creatures by their gem colors) Age (in days) (helpful when you need to see if there's any creatures who are about to die of old age)
  23. I want to be like "I hope this one specific feature gets added!" but I want them ALLLLL! Also, what counts as "small" features and "big" ones? Is one gene (like Savanna Horns) count as small? Does Customizable and Programmable Gem Colors count as big?
