Yes! This is shallow water, which can be entered with both walking and swimming ability. That's why it doesn't really count as water. It might be possible to stop the Rabbils from going in there too if you all think that makes more sense ^^

@Aetherskye Niche doesn't pay all the bills (only about 1/4 of them actually), so we need to constantly work towards new game releases or we will be brrooooke.

Hey folks We just uploaded a new version (1.1.9) of the "Sandbox settings" update on the tester branch! Please don't forget that this is a tester branch. Things are buggy here. If you want to play with precious save files from earlier versions, it's adviced to make a back up first. What has changed in this new version? Improvements: Baby animals can no longer collect insects Sticky Tongue creatures can now only spawn in certain biomes Added Try Attack and Try Swoop Interaction for Crabbit Fixes: Fixed shadow bug Fixed Try Attack immortal Rabbils bug Crabbits no longer spawn on Nichelings and stand on tree fields Fixed bird sound even if no bird spawned Wild Animals can no longer walk around when they are frozen, stunned, paralyzed Fixed animal skills display problem im family tree Fixed animals that had their eyes closed after being warmed up Please help us to test if all the new things are working! To do so, you can head over to Steam. Right click on Niche in your game library, select properties, open the Betas tab, enter the password. The password is: NicheTesterBranch Select tester_branch from the drop down. The game should now be updating. If now, restart Steam. Happy testing and please report all bugs here. It would be especially great if you can keep an eye out for: Test the new Win Conditions! How are the Rogue Males reacting when you attack them with a female? How are the spawn rates for wild animals? Too many? Thanks for your support ❤️

There is a Crabbit Stuck Under a Tree

Fixed the Crabbits spawn on Nicheling bug. The Crabbits spawn on trees bug seems to be related to the Wild Nichelings spawn on trees bug, which is now hopefully fixed as well ^^ -
So weird. We can't repeoduce this. Seems to be working fine. Does @Jojo or anybody else have a save file where this is happening? If so please post it here! -> working fine

Could it be that your computer has very little disk space left? Then that would explain why the game couldn't save.

Folks, what should we do about the animal portraits in the bottom left corner? If've heard some people say that it would be better to move them back to where they were before. Is the top priority to always see the action points well?
