  1. @Skysplash8 With the current setting: Yes
  2. Yes, the female only gives birth once the set pregnancy duration is over. The pregnant status effect will give you the info how many days the pregnancy still takes ^^
  3. This will be added in the upcoming update ^^
  4. Cool idea, but not really related to sandbox settings. I'll move this to general suggestions.
  5. Would be cool, but this feature goes way beyond being a sandbox option. It would require a bit overhaul of game mechanics in general. Moving this to general suggestions.
  6. A slightly changed version of this will be added in the upcoming update You can set a maximum tribe limit at the start and change it with the console. If you reach the maximum tribe size, your animals will refuse to mate (because they feel uncomfortable with their tribe size).
  7. Fixed, thanks folks! The problem was that the object responsible to spawn Eve aka the "EveSpawner" was set to be a non-occupiable object. Will be fixed in the next update
  8. Sounds like a console bug. We fixed a couple of them for the new update. Maybe that fixed this problem too.
  9. Hoi! Are you Swiss maybe xD? Because Hoi is the Swiss word for Hi.
  10. @heyitsgeorgie I don't even know all the basic game mechanics yet, so I think we'll have to wait to couple of months to talk about content
  11. As ManTheMister said, the racing update is on the preview branch and is currently being tested The first launch after the game's release / before christmas we did a lot of bug fixing and small improvements. The support effort was enourmous, so many people reaching out about things to fix. After that we started with the racing update. It will hopefully make it's way to the main branch in the next few weeks ^^ All going well so far!
  12. Haha, I actually also have to check the code again. Will take a look next week during the Niche update prep If you're mom and dad both had hemophilia (the mom as a carrier), shouldn't the dauther have a 50% percent chance of also having hemophilia? Not as a carrier, but as an active sickness?
  13. @ValkyrieWolff Thank you We are indeed considering to run a Kickstarter at some point in 2020. Still so much work to do
  14. Yes, I think the art will be amazing :D! We have a new artist for the project, Stephanie Stutz. This is her website: https://www.artstation.com/stephaniestutz We have known each other for 15 years now (met her back when I was in school) and we always wanted to make a game together, so I'm super excitet to work with her ^^ She also made the intro video with Adam for Niche and all the promo pictures for Niche (like the one with the flying cat and the one with the Panda Nicheling). That and @Markus will be doing 2d animation for the game. I'm really looking forward to what it will look like! Now I just have to give my best to make it fun, since I'm the game designer
  15. I'm in charge of programming the prototype As it was with Niche, but wow I'm really out of practice with programming. Currently, this is what the game looks like Super quick placefolder graphics, just to try out different game mechanics. BigAnimal_Prototype.mp4
  16. @Goggles-kun But that is very very early concept art, the game will look completly different ^^
  17. @heyitsgeorgie Yes, we posted some concept art
  18. Yeah, Retimed isn't our third game We help them with marketing and work in the same office. The new game doesn't have a name yet. The plan is to make a building simulation game where you build up a settlement on the back of a huge animal that walks around. But it's also still possible that we find out the concept doesn't work and do something else ^^
  19. We also always have to try our best to remain sustainable. Our studio now has to be able to sustain 10 people. (Though many of us work part time, so it would be about 5-6 full time employees). In Switzerland (were we work and live), that means costs of about $30'000 every month. The big money from games usually comes in when you launch (Early Access launch und full launch). In a "normal" month, where no big launches or sales are happening, we depend on the money we made earlier. So, we constantly have to work towards another launch in order to remain sustainable and be able to make games we (and you!) love for many more years hopefully ❤️
  20. @heyitsgeorgie Yeah, a third one, but still super early We'll share it here as soon as there is anything presentable Yes it's true that it can be stressful to work on multiple things at the same time, because you constantly need to switch your brain around between projects. That is why we're currently working on Niche in "weeks". So we will be working on Niche one whole week and then work on the other things again for some weeks. Next week will be a Niche week, so we will have new stuff to share then ^^
  21. Also please don't forget that we are working on two games. (And a very early prototype for a third one too.) With Nimbatus, we're still in early access and need to fullfil features we promised in the Kickstarter.
  22. Hmm that might make sense We do have a problem with double suggestions. Maybe it would help to have more separation. Would love to hear some more opinions ^^
  23. Noted, will look into it.
  24. Thank, I'll try to push it around a bit
  25. Bees are friends. They only ever stung me when I accidently accidentally on them. Wasps stung me on purpose multiple times. Especially in autumn when they're drung from eating fermenting fruit.
