She nodded “Lead the way”

“So should we try to find them? Or should we find the swawp?”

She did so, running as fast as her little could take her

She shook her pelt, before curling back up into her mothers warm fur

She booped it with her nose. It had many new smells. She looked up to see the cat that brought it. (It’s no problem!)

She attempted to crawl up to her mothers front legs to get a closer look

She laid there patiently, soaking in the smells of the den. Mother, the moss beneath her, dirt, and other plants

Solarkit squirmed at first, but calmed down. It did seem her mother would keep her safe

Solarkit looked up at her. Some of her instincts told her to curl up on her, that she was protection. But others said she wouldn’t provide that.

Solarkit whimpered as she tried to find who poked her

She gazed at the others. Maybe this will never end

The spirit jumped back, surprised. “Did we all get lost?” She asked

I fell asleep, what do I do now?….
