Huzzah, we have a working solution. thank you very much kind sir. Had to change my Intel graphics setting to maintain aspect ratio.

tried this, now when i load it its windowed at the stray fawn logo, but afterwords goes full screen and has the same issues as before.

when attempting to load the game (demo release) i get the stray fawn logo, then just a black screen with a mouse. My drivers are all up to date as well as DirectX, so any advice to get it working would be appreciated.
