  1. I really like this simple idea: it'd be useful as I like to leave a game for a few days, and when I come back I usually have to spend several minutes re-acquainting myself with the tribe before I can move anyone.
  2. The ability to select and view the lineages of deceased nechelings would be a major improvement. maybe a sub menu in the current family tree? or a check-box: show full bloodline
  3. NO!! Shame on you!!! One is bad enough... Actually, I agree with TamTroll and RedKnight: since the overall design seems to be just a morphed up face, having a little variety of changes could be more interesting. Honestly the only thing that really bugs me about the derp snout as it is, is that the ears are always the same: whatever genes you have don't show up there.
  4. I completely support this motion: we need heterochromia. I'm not in favor of behavioral changes though: isn't a big part of the game deciding their behaviors yourself?
  5. Totally agree that blind nechelings should be able to move where the others can't see: how else do those blind wanderers and rogues... wander? Also would love to see those other hearing and eye genes; far sighted at +3 without seeing adjacent tiles would make sense. maybe the whiskers and cat eye genes could be combined? kind of like how toxic body gives them frog eyes.
  6. Maybe they can be befriended like bearyena, and that's where we can get our leathery wings? The other parts you mentioned would also be interesting to inherit.
  7. Oh absolutely want stinger tail! Also like the tricky tail design, though not sure how well that specific mechanic would work. Maybe attracts the hits more, but with a 50% miss chance?
  8. The main addition to the game that I think would be just about absolutely vital, and I'm a little surprised I'm not seeing it much on the forums already, would be a little popup message that asks you if you are sure you want to end the day if you still have Nichelings with unspent actions. I've seen it multiple times with veteran let's-players as well as experienced firsthand losing whole days on accident: the button is huge and in the center of the top of the screen, right where my strategy gamer brain says the menu is, and the default on the keyboard is the spacebar and enter keys, buttons I automatically hit for various functions in other strategy games. Also I discovered by accident that it is possible to double tap and have a night take two days (Murphy why! T-T). So having a little box pop up saying "X number of Nichelings still have actions" would go a HUGE way toward making the best game experience possible.
