I meant on baby nichelings. Or at least mine lived. Multipliers likely still apply so that's a nonsense value, but they may survive.
Alright. I thought when a baby was hit it was basically an insta kill

Bluebreads only deal 40 damage per swoop, so you might live.
But I think babies take like super high damage?

Try setting your graphics to lowest and animal resolution as well. Maybe that helps

Happened to me first time around too. Luckily I had set my food to 100 so I managed until they grew up 5 days later or something XD

I like the pure white gems and I use red gems as a marking variation for my orange based warriors but other then that I haven't strayed much yet from my base gem colours ^^

I hope this gets added, because with the defender bear hating violence you can’t even get rid if the rogue males, which makes them even more annoying
I hope so too. I am trying to currently get rid of a defender bear by luring it away. No idea if it'll work.

Does she even know about the new update?
Yeah, I gave it to her, that's why she thought this was a bug because I told her to look out for bugs

I really like giving my creatures a long lifespan (0 baby, 5 child, 40 teen and 50 adult was my first tribe with the update) because it takes a really long time to roleplay with a huge tribe, but with a long lifespan I don't even need to worry about breading all of them too quickly, and the tribe survives while staying small. I guess that a short lifespan is better for breading and adapting your creatures quickly, while a long lifespan lets you use your nichelings genes rather than making them pass the gene on.
40 days teen?! Wow that is long. I have 9 days teen and feel like that is long XD

Once you have your ini file all set up you might even be able to share it here

I find a lot of wanderers as well but maybe that has to do with the age settings and everybody just living longer. (Haven't really figured out yet if the spawn rates are messed up or not)

This has happened to me before the update as well. Usually it is fixed by force closing Niche and reopening it.

that is not new, i have seen that in vids before
Yes but then the baby would gain a gem. The age was set to 2. What I am saying here is that the baby won't grow bigger on the next turn. The age is set longer. It will stay a baby with zero gems for 7 days so the age should stop on 7/8 day not on the second day.

This is a pretty basic challenge. You have to add the color code for black into your color file #000000 and then have all your Nichelings always have black gemstones. That way, if you aren't super careful you won't know how much energy a Nicheling has left.

I feel like the colors are a little bit off in general. In game to, but that might just be because I have a bunch more colors to compare them to now.

Every wanderer is first gen in family tree
in Bugs version 1.1.5 (Tester branch)

Yes, the age stages are somewhat along the lines of:
Baby 5
Child 7
Teen 9
Adult 60
Pregnancy on 5
And I think I messed around with the damage multipliers as well but I can't remember from the top of my head.
Here's the save in case that helps
