  1. I used to Spiderman climb the doorframes and sometimes swing in between them with my arms as supports... well long story short I fell and hit my chin on the ground, my mom thought I had fallen through the floor because it had made such a loud noise. It got 3 stichtes in the wound. It hurt at the time but when I think about it now it is funny, especially because my mom has the exact same scar, at the same place with 3 stitches (she got it differently though ^^).

    The second one isn't really an injury and I don't remember it but my mom likes to tell the story. So we were at my uncles house let's call him older uncler because the younger one comes into play to. Well they had a pool and I was like 2 years old or something. My mom was there, my older brother and the younger uncle. My brother did some crap and my mom placed me on the edge of the pool to deal with him. Me being the suicidal kid I was (I really I jumped from all kind of high things when I was younger... thinking about it I still do) jumped in the pool and sunk to the ground like a stone, because I couldn't swim but instead of panicking I just sat there. The younger uncle jumped in an pulled me out and what did I say "Mommy I can swim". ^^

    @Snowy Owl
    I don't know yet :D
    Will have to figure that out soon. But I think we'll probably need wanderers to live for as long as your tribe members.
    Rogue Males could have a shorter life span though.

    @wolfhowlmay
    That or maybe we can add an adjustable damage modifier in the sandbox settings.
    So you could receive let's say 5 damage points when you usually would only get 1 damage. That would also be an interesting setting to make the game harder in general. Maybe even with setting different types of damage? So you could deal hunger deal you 10 damage but only 2 from predators for example.

    I think the adjustable damage one sounds great :D I would love to be able to make predators hit a lot harder,  but not necesarrily have them have a lot of armor

    (Oh mein Gott, Google Translate Texte, die tatsächlich verständlich sind?! Unmöglich! (und das war nicht google translate/ and this wasn't google translate XD))

    I feel like due to the fact they're all the same species they should have the same life length. the only thing that worries me about the whole increased or decreased age is the fact the health bar is their age bar, so creatures are going to become easier/harder to kill because of their lifespan which personally I don't think makes much sense. perhaps a health bar with the same amount of health as a normal life nicheling (25 days I think? so they can only take 25 damage) should be added in.

    so to make this a little less confusing i mean: if you set a nicheling to be able to live 50 days that means it would take 50 damage to kill them, and if rogue males and wanderers are the same it would take 50 damage to kill a rogue male, which sounds pretty insane. hopefully this makes sense, if it doesn't I can try to explain it more clearly.

    I get what you are saying, but this would sort of have to be overhauled for every animal then and I think maybe rebalanced for longer and shorter lifespans. And I wanted something like this earlier on but now I don't know if we necessarily need it anymore. Yes other Nichelings would be harder to kill but so are all other things with long lifespans (Not that I would mind a health bar I just think currently it would be more trouble than worth, but maybe that'll change once we have the update and I'm super annyoed by every wanderer living so long ^^ )

    Oh, no. It's brilliant. This must be how they feed themselves and no one ever runs away. Infinite bread.

    Well, if you look at my post above it sort of works XD

    But now I think every Rogue Male is french ^^

  7. I am not so sure about the pattern question, but I think they have different tail from time to time. I see if I can find one and take a screenshot next time I play. Rogue Males definitely have some cool recessive genes though sometimes, especially in the tail and body department :D

    I hate tying things together.  It feels like closing off potential, shrinking the world I built. But I know that in not doing so limits the story, and as I say, they need to be set free.

    I get what you mean. Just writing short stories is just fine. I mean not everybody needs to write novels and the art of writing short stories is just as difficult to master :)

    I think that tying loose ends and it maybe limiting the story is just a problem of making a descision to stick to one version (which is fine I hate making descisions (I hate this word, I can never remember how to write it XD)). Also you never have to tie up all ends, can always leave some open to advance later :D
