For peacock tail calling out to animals like 30 times or so. Beak is trickier, maybe something in addition to digging? Because it can dig or just invite a creature with that gene. For scorpion tail maybe attacking a creature and poisoning ? (not only once of course ^^ )

Does saving a butterfly from drowning count? ^^

Which version of the game are you playing?

Good question. I could understand if it didn't because it would be only the tail on the other paw the toxic body is only toxic skin. Would probably be more consistant for it to give poison resistance or at least poison resistance to attacks (like poison fangs and toxic body)

Did you use console commands? (They can cause that as well)

@DangerousDodo that are some cool cats! Sadly my mom is allergic so we can't have them. My dog does that as well especially because she manages to push all her toys under the couch all the time and then is left with none ^^ I think reptiles are cool though I prefer furry pets

I love this idea too. Especially because I think it is immersive as well. Also I don't think it negates the function of the bluebird. Just because you can carry babies around doesn't mean you don't accidentally forget one (or with twins) maybe only a Nicheling with all three action points can carry a baby and if it does so it's movement speed is reduced (let's say the nicheling usually has a speed of 5 and then only a 3 or even 2 similar to how it works in WolfQuest where your stamina drains faster when you carry a pup). I think that would make it more balanced. Not to say that a kangaroo body wouldn't be cool as well

I think toxic body gave different eyes in an earlier version of the game. Doesn't matter because I like the idea

I definitely like the idea of more sicknesses. The question is could it be healed by the healing plant? And or could it only be healed on the first day of infection? Also, I like the idea that we would not be able to control the creature anymore. Still kind of feels a little unbalance ^^

Aww I am so sorry @Pokestardragacraft but also wow that are a lot of pets and all of them together *-* so cute! @Philo that with your cats is also sad but as a dog owner I'd say small dogs can be just as a handfull as big dogs ^^ (I'd recommend taking a dog from a shelter :3 )

That sounds awesome and exciting :D. Just wondering what about water body or gills? I mean would the water be like on the burning savannah where you can't swim in it? Or you can swim in it a little (like archipelago) and then after some time and bigger rifts you couldn't anymore (prefer that option)(because otherwhise your whole tribe migth be cut of or just a few members).

I admit I completly misread your post at first I think if we got this there should sometimes be an event when the killer bearyenas hits one of your creatures, like a randomizer determines each day if it'll stay friendly. Why? Because I feel like these big and strong creatures might just lash out 'accidentally' one day or maybe you get lucky and they never will. But you'll still be able to breed with it. I also think that it should give slightly different genes as they are stronger and have defense opposed to the normal bearyenas but that might make the following hybrids even more overpowered

Hello to all the new and old people here, since the awesome Niche Team made me a mod here as well, I thought I might as well introduce myself. My name is Jojo or Jojo of Faraway (yes that is a Shrek reference). I am currently studying comparative literature, german language and skandinavian studies and want to become an author one day (fantasy or science fiction). As you might have noticed I am a huge Niche Fan, the only game in my steam library that has more hours than Niche is Skyrim and they only differ by 10 hours currently. I am pretty sure it will skyrocket with the wing update though ^^ I love horses, dogs, wolves, really all kind of animals. My favourite book series is Warriors (or Warrior Cats). I am a huge Marvel fan (going to see Infinity War tomorrow). I also love the TV series Lucifer and Castle. That's all I can think of right now

Yeah, I think the best way to add this would be another gene slot for fur, independent from the body one so the fur we had currently would be the normal fur and then we could have thick fur (best paired with big body), long fur etc.
