  1. Starting on the crossing island worked just fine 😊 thank you all for the help!
  2. Does anyone know of there's a console code that will let you invite members of Adam's family? I know having the home island immunity alone doesn't do it. I thought it would be neat to start as a member of Adam's family on home island in sandbox mode, but it doesn't seem like any of the creatures will join me
  3. It could have been that. I tried starting on multiple jungle islands, so it seems weird that all of those starting creatures were just that stealthy Ah well, seems fine on my main save where my creatures are free to be eaten by two big-nosed apes!
  4. I just spent an hour or so playing this challenge. I really like the random ambitions table! It helped me make up personalities for a lot of my "cats" when usually I have difficulty getting attached to my nichelings Thanks for posting! This is really cool!
  5. EDIT: I finally found a smelling ape in a pre-existing save file, so it must have just been really weird luck? Hi everyone! I was just wondering if anyone else was noticing an unusual lack of apes. I have started three sandbox save files in jungle biomes (overgrown jungle, jungle gate, even the killer jungle island) and have been unable to find any apes. I've been stepping on twigs and collecting stinky fruits without cleaning the stench off my creatures and everything. I'm not even hearing the sound the game usually makes when there are apes in the world/nearby. Apes used to show up all of the time, and now I can't find one when I'm looking. Anyone else notice this, or am I just having some weird luck? Sorry if this is a known thing or has been brought up before, I searched a couple of pages back and didn't see anything!
  6. I would love to be able to select different lifespans As it is I haven't been playing much. I find it hard to get attached to my nichelings when they die so quickly .n.
  7. I think you only restart with home island immunity if you go extinct on the island where you lost it (before travelling to a new island). I wish this wasn't the case, because it seems like a shame to have to start over from scratch if you travel after losing the home island immunity, but I think this is still how it works.
  8. I haven't been able to find water digging tiles on a game started in 1.1.1, except when my creature already had the platypus bill. Creatures without it can't seem to sense the water digging tiles anymore. Is this intentional?
  9. Apparently I can find water digging tiles when I have the platypus bill now, but I can't find them without it. Seems strange, if it's intentional, because you'd have to have the platypus beak to unlock the platypus beak. Similar to having to fly to unlock wings, weird.
  10. In one of my saves (started before the patch, but seems to be updated to 1.1.1) I still cannot find any water digging tiles for worms. I have checked along the shorelines of several islands and even tried having my tribe go extinct to see if that would make a difference. Still no worms :c Is this because the save was created before the patch or am I maybe just unlucky...? Thanks for reading!
  11. I've been noticing that there seems to be a bug with the mutation of hemophilia and normal blood clotting. No matter how many times I put normal blood clotting into the mutation menu, it doesn't mutate in. This has been the same over at least three generations, so it's not just bad luck. It's not gamebreaking, but it is sad for the normal blood clotting unlock to be useless :c I usually don't try to mutate in hemophilia (for obvious reasons) but I started a test file recently and after 15 babies with hemophilia in both mutation slots of both parents, no hemophilia appeared in the babies, so it seems that that gene might be bugged too.
