  1. This could be very useful if something like logic lines where implemented! you could then have an actual distance value for altitude and have various logic gates to perform various functions at different altitudes! for example, you could make a drone that first digs straight down, then, once it gets to a certain distance from the core, starts digging out around the core and collecting resources, and once it is full, it could dig back up and then return to the resource drop-off point!
  2. This would be very useful! and, if something like logic lines get added in maybe they could have the option to output an array containing distance and angle (relative to the center of the planet at the current position) to the target! You could then feed the angle into a turret's angle input and have a simple logic gate that has the turret fire when it gets within a certain distance!
  3. On another note having logic lines would also allow things such as analog inputs, vectors, arrays, etc. that would allow for more complex logic systems that would be impossible with simply using keybinds alone.
  4. I absolutely love the idea of logic lines/a logic view! I think keybinds could still be there for simple creations or such, but being able to have logic wires makes following the logic going on in a craft probably quite a bit easier! there could be like a blue circle for inputs and a red one for outputs! Also, maybe later on there could even be a large programmable part (or something you can put a good amount of logic gates in) for more complex calculations, but that could always be a mod once the game is done!
