Redeploying on the same planet should not "cost" thread.

When playing as a programmer it's really difficult to make drones without testing them.

The threat system is already a train-wreck of a system to make the player progress faster through a system. But deploying on the same planet costs threat??

I feel like that doing this will come a long way to make the game enjoyable in the default playmode (I only really enjoy the sandbox because of the threat system)

Even if you are not playing with a Programmer captain (but for a Programmer playthrough it is much more actual of course). Every action in the Survival punishes a player with the Threat and you cannot do anything about it, like fight the attackers or reduce the Threat somehow. It is like the game is punishing the player for playing it.

The Survival is nearly unplayable because of this, and totally not enjoyable. The game's missions require you to try, fail and repeat until you get it right, and this aspect is amplified by the limited number of parts (especially at the start, before you would be able to properly upgrade the ship) that makes you unable to create a universal monster that could do anything. Every mission requires you to construct a specialist drone honed specifically for this single procedurally generated mission, and this is fun by itself and is a good game mechanic, but how could anyone even do this without scouting for mission's challenges and failing several times first?! Punishing the player for just trying different things in a game of this type creates only sheer frustration.
