"Waaaakkeee up!" "calm down.." "What do you mean?? I am calm.." "I hate to agree with Alco but the're right you need to relax.." the brown spotted female grumbled. "Oh shut up Kou, I know you have to be the grumpiest in the jungle but would it kill you to be nice for once?" Things had been going good, they found some dru- healing plants but not any food. and then.. 3 whole bearyena's, one of the killer variety charged into camp. three of the nichelings ran away, leaving Eyesore, a sickly toxic bodied derp snout fellow to distract the monsters. While Gaze and I were trying to figure out what to do you sat and stared at your reflection like a stunned idiot for 20 minutes." Yuzu open's his mouth to retort but is cut off by his sister, Gaze. "Yu stop flirting with your boyfriend"." She deadpanned. "We aren't boyfriends!" "we are not boyfriends." Reef stated, rolling his eyes Gaze just rolled her eyes and adds, "Whatever you two lovebirds. Yuzu, being Yuzu, bolted past the bearyena while Reef stood in shock. the bear swipes at him, painting red lines across his cheek and then it bites at his neck. it’s teeth close around air because Reef finally came to his senses and started running. dammit, why had Gaze chosen today to go for a walk? -Gaze pov- I needed to get away from those two idiots. Don’t get me wrong, i love them and all but i need alone time. there was a rustling in the grass in front of me and i backed up a step, my fur bristling. ‘’ow!’’ yelped the nicheling, who had just jumped and landed quite ungracefully on the tree stump. ‘’there goes my alone time..’’ i muttered bitterly. ‘’’huh? oh! hi! I’m Luna, who are you?’’ I groaned. ‘’that doesn’t sound like any name i’ve heard before.’’ Luna says, confused. ‘’that’s not my name.’’ I replied, trying to be patient. ’’oh, then what is it?’’ ’’why would i tell you?’’ ’’so we can be friends obviously.’’ Luna replied. ’’ugh. It’s Gaze.’’ ‘’Woah cool.’’ Luna said. I was about to reply when an out of breath Reef burst/waddled on his frog legs into the clearing. ‘’B..bear..’’ he panted, out of breath. The three panted and reef was still bleeding from his face wounds. after calming down and regrouping, the blood from Reef’s wounds had dried.‘’gotta go wash this off and find Yuzu..’’ he said with a yawn. His adrenaline was probably wearing off and making him tired. never the less he slips into the stream and swims off. that left Gaze and Luna alone. The problem being Gaze didn’t know anything about small talk and Luna kept asking weird questions one after the other. ‘’why are your eyes so yellow and pretty?’’ ’’where are you from? Are you from a jungle too?’’ ‘’What happened to your paw?’’ you get the point. ‘’do you ever stop.’’ She grumbled. ‘’oh uh.. not really!’’ She says with a grin. Gaze can feel her face heating up from one smile alone. am I sick or something- what is wrong with me? ’’so anyways. I need to go home, my cousins will be worried about me although they’d never admit it.’’ Luna said and pouted. ‘’but I’d really like to talk to you again, can you come to our camp in a few days?’’ ’’I don’t know..’’ ’’why not?’’ ’’well last time I left those two idiots were attacked.’’ ‘’Ohhhh. Maybe she could get Starfruit to feed him? She tried to stand up from her place, wrapped around her son but she realized she was to weak to. ‘’Well.. I’m sorry kid.. I wish I could do more for you but I don’t think I can.’’ ’’just remember, you don’t need any of them nor anything from them. Wait I didn’t mean it like that’’ Gaze face paws. ’’anyways.. I brought you something!’’ Luna held out a paw. There was a few leaves wrapped around some berries that were common around here but were supposedly poisonous. ‘’are you trying to poison me?’’ ’’no no! There’s part of it that are edible, really everything but the skin and I can remove that because of these.’’ She said, pointing at her fangs with the other paw. Gaze nods warily. ‘’I’m not trying to poison you.’’ She reassures, peeling the skin off a few berries and giving them to Gaze. Gaze hesitates before picking one up and popping it in her mouth and chewing it. ‘’that’s actually really good.’’ She admits. ’’i told you so.’’ ‘’Hmph.’’ Gaze huffed and Luna just laughs. her laugh was actually really pretty in Gaze’s opinion. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We have a better chance of not dying if there are more of us.’’ Gaze said, which was partially true. She did want to be safe and that wouldn’t really work if they lived alone. But there was something else, something unknown that made her want to go. ‘’hey yeah I’m coming too.’’ the pair turned around to see a blind male staring at them. ‘’Uhhh..’’ ’’...’’ ’’alright I see we’re in agreement!’’ He said, clasping his paws together in delight. “Uh.. we didn’t invite you idio-‘’ Luna nudged her. ‘’yeah you do that bud.’’ he walked away and Luna sheepishly curled up around Gaze. Hopefully I can take more tmrw Kou has a child who she names Delta and Alco, has a daughter who they name Poppy. they chat quietly and ghost comments occasionally as their newborn’s sleep.
