a challenge that's kind of un-original i think

I wanna make kind of a roleplay challenge, but I'm literal crud at roleplaying. so I'll do this.

there will be three mini-tribes/kingdoms. they each will take up a third of the island. you'll mostly be able to tell what mini-tribe/kingdom a nicheling is from based on their genes. also, creatures get "married". that basically means mated for life. if their mate dies they do not accept another one and die alone.

ranks:
kings/queens: these ranks will be selected by the requirements (bolded sentences) in the descriptions of the tribe. gems are blue in the middle. they can only be married to each other. there is one king and one queen in each tribe. they do not need to gather food or explore. offspring of the king and queen will have their blue gems on the outside and the color of the tribe in the middle. they can't mate with anyone unless they become king/queen.

soldiers/hunters: these are the strongest of each tribe that are not kings/queens. they protect everyone in their tribe and are the main forces if 2 kingdoms go to war. they can hunt rabbits and moles (rabbils and stagmoles. i call them rabbits and moles.) and will also protect against bearyenas. they will usually breed with other soldiers for strong genes, but if they have to, they will breed with fruit gatherers. they have one orange gem in the middle.

fruit gatherers: they find a bush and/or tree (basically a food source) and stay there for most of their lives. they usually only move to get away from danger or breed with other gatherers. their children or relatives usually take over their gathering spot. they have one green gem in the middle.

slaves: they are set to omega rank. these are wanderers accepted into the tribe and they serve the queen and king. they cannot mate and will sacrifice themselves for the other ranks if there is an attack. they have a yellow gem in the middle.

tribes/kingdoms:
"pretty" tribe/kingdom
these nichelings will be what you perceive as "pretty" nichelings. like, patterns, colors, some genes, like that. in this tribe, rogue-born and "ugly" children will be exiled/sacrificed. in this tribe, the kings and queens will be the "prettiest" in the tribe. you'll probably make a list of "pretty" genes and the nichelings with the most of them will be selected for kings/queens. (if you want to.) the gems for this tribe will be purple. they're pretty peaceful due to them probably not having much strength.

tradition tribe/kingdom
these nichelings will be just pretty normal nichelings. their color is dark blue for the outside gems. their kings/queens will only be ones descended from the original ones. the youngest offspring from the king/queen will inherit king/queen role. they will marry a fruit gatherer or a soldier. they are also usually at war with the war tribe/kingdom.

war tribe/kingdom
the kings and queens of this kingdom are very strong, and the soldiers are a bit less strong but still strong nonetheless. the only ones with low strength here are the fruit gatherers. they have very short tempers and are usually at war with the tradition tribe/kingdom. their color is red. the kings/queens are selected from the soldiers or the offspring of the king and queen. they're the strongest, unrelated 2.

extra stuff to know/rules:
- the gem colors work like this: the tribe/kingdom colors go on the outside, and the rank color in the middle. though royal offspring have the king/queen rank on the outside and their tribe/kingdom color in the middle.
-war is basically war. but how it works is the soldiers go on the border of the other kingdom involved in the war and they fight. when 2 soldiers fight, whoever has higher strength wins. if they have the same amount, roll a random number generator from 1-2. you decide whos 1 and 2. whoever it lands on wins. the losing party is just injured, and has to retreat. the kingdom with the most soldiers left un-injured is the winner of the war. roll the random generator again. if its a 1, the war keeps going, and if its a 2, the war stops.
-you can decide if you want a war for some extra action in your playthrough.
-age settings are as follows, baby: 3 child: 4 teen: 6 adult: 32
-a nicheling is considered too old to breed once it hits age 39. (39 days survived)
-fruit gatherers must have at least 1 collecting. if they have at least one strength, they become a soldier. if neither, they can become a slave or you can exile them.
-only travel to grassland islands. if you're moving and there's at least 2 grassland ports, the king and queens of each kingdom must come to an agreement on what one to travel to. if there's no grassland ports, you can hop islands to the left until you come across one.
-start on any easy island except for archipelago or grass mingle. and maybe not tiny green either. you could also start on deadly hills if you want the challenge.
-pregnancy duration: 4, enemy damage: 2, environment damage: 2 hunger damage: 2, healing: 1

that's it, if you wanna add more rules for a challenge go ahead, or if you wanna add more roleplay aspects you're welcome to. add or remove rules as you see fit.
