They are twins, born on the same day. They have compatible immunities but will not breed. Glacier is a strong, fearless female. Frost is a nimble-fingered, slightly cowardly male. 1 day later- They wade towards the mountains. Glacier: This is your fault, Frost. We were on a gorgeous mountain, with plenty of lush grass, and YOU got us stranded here. Frost: How is it my fault if it was a bluebird? Glacier: Shut up, brother. Another day passes. Frost: It's that bird again! Glacier: Why are you scared? Frost: What if we get carried to somewhere even worse? Glacier: No, we won't. Time passes until day 4. Glacier: What's that? Frost: Don't touch it, it might be dangerous. Glacier: There's something inside. Frost: It could be a bearyena or something. Ignore it. The next day: Glacier gazes into the rock. Frost: Glacier, don't! Glacier presses her claw angaist it as hard as she could. Too late. Craack! Out crawls a tiny child. A weak child. A child who cannot take the cold, who has double A immunity- very sick. But he does have majestic horns that he could use to kill predators. Frost: Leave him, Glacier. He'll slow us down. Days 6-18 Glacier: Brother, we cannot leave him! Frost: This is for our survival. Glacier: He can help us! Frost: He is prone to the cold. He is sickly. We will leave him! Glacier: He's just a baby, for the Gods' sake. Ever since we washed up... you didn't act like the brother I know anymore. Frost reflects on how much kinder, more caring he was before the bluebird accident. Frost: Fine. He can come. Glacier pulls the baby closer as Bluebirds circle above. Glacier: What's your name? Child: M-m-my n-name's Amber. A day passes. It is hard for the group to travel. They have to try and stay close to eachother, so that nobody freezes. Especially Amber, with no cold resistence thanks to his lean body. Amber: I-I'm cold! Glacier: Stay close to us, then. It'll be warmer. In the meantime, Frost clears a path through the snow. It is day 8. Travel shall be easier as Amber grows a third gem. He sneezes on Glacier, making her sick. Frost rushes back to keep his group warm. Nothing really interesting happens. On day 9, they find a hotspring which Amber instantly moves towards. The snow still slows them down greatly. On day 10, Amber settles in a hotspring as the twins grow their third gems. They head towards the peak of the mountain. Glacier: I wish this snow would melt, at least enough for us to actually walk. Frost: And that probably won't happen until we're old and dying. Glacier: Will you ever look on the bright side? Frost: I'm being realistic, no pessimistic. They later head for the bottom of the mountain. Maybe it would be at least a tiny bit warmer there. On day 14, the tribe notices a large fat creature. Amber: I know those! They are so yummy! Glacier: We are older than you, Amber. We know better. But we have your word! Frost: No. Stay away. It's dangerous. Day 15. The tribe sees a balance bear. Amber: Run! Frost: For once, I agree. The tribe runs for their lives. On day 16, Frost sees a female sitting in a hotspring. Amber: I wonder who that is. Glacier: That's a wanderer. Should we invite her? Frost: I think.. we should. She leaves the hot spring to face Frost. Wanderer: Hello! Are you a tribe? Frost: I think we are. Wanderer: I'd love to join, then! Frost: You can. Wanderer: The name's Butter. The next day, Butter immediatley gets pregnant with Frost's child. Glacier notices an ugly male looking at her. Glacier: Get away from me, freak! She charges at him and lashes out with her claw. He manages to mate with her. She yells at him for acting like that. The rest of the tribe watches in horror. Frost: Everyone, run! He had somehow taken a leadership role. Glacier: What about Amber? Frost:He'll be fine! We have to go! Day 19 - The bear strikes Amber, but he stands his ground. The rest of the tribe sprints downhill. Meanwhile, the rest of the tribe encounters a fammiliar thing... Glacier: It looks like the thing Amber was in! Butter, break it! Butter: Are you sure? Glacier: I'm sure! She presses her digging paw to the ice. It cracks. Once again, a young Nicheling comes out. New Nicheling: Who are you? You are on Redpine terriotory! I am Spruce, warrior in training! Butter: Do you know that Redpine tribe died out many years ago? My mother told me. Spruce: No they didn't! I just left the camp, I got frozen in the ice and.... oh. Butter: How long were you in there? Spruce: I... don't know. Frost: I know you want him to come with us. Glacier: He is coming with us. Day 20. Amber is still fine. He is not hit this time. Arctic Ramfoxes join the scene. Thinking he held it off for long enough, Amber runs. On day 21, he manages to catch up with the rest of the tribe. He meets Spruce. Glacier: Amber! You're alright! Amber: Yes, I'm fine. I'm bruised, but ok. Glacier licks him happilly. On day 23, Frost pushes ahead, leading the tribe. His goal is getting the two pregnant females a nest. By day 25, Glacier is ready to give birth to her rogue child in the nest. Butter is ready to give birth to the child of Frost. The next day, two loveley babies are born! Glacier stares at her rogue child. Glacier: I don't want you. At home, I would've kept you, no matter what... She whimpers. Glacier: When this child opens his eyes, I shall send him out to find his father. Amber: Glacier, this isn't like you! BirbMonster Posted May 24, 2021 Author Share Posted May 24, 2021 So in the last poll, it was voted that Seeker will have a comopanion and that he'll care only about his father. As Seeker was born, a Balance Bear appeared! Butter tries to leap out and attack it. She manages to deal a sliver of damage, but a bluebrid snatches her baby! Frost stays to protect Seeker, whilst Glacier leaps out to land more hits. She does 4 more damage to the bear. It turns towards her as she runs out of turns, but Amber braveley leaps in front of it, gets then dodges away. The night skips, but the bear strikes Glacier anyways! She bites it twice then runs. Everyone tries to run. Meanwhile, Frost finds a wanderer. "Hello," says the wanderer. "My name is Birch, I am great-great grandchild of the ancient ruler Oak of the Redpine tribe," Everybody flinches. If Spruce thought he was a member of Redpine, he must've bean in the ice for many, many moons. Enough for the alpha to have a great-great grandchild, who was already starting to get a tiny bit old. But hadn't Redpine.... died out? Another mystery we may never solve. Or maybe, we will. Birch joins the tribe, and Frost purrs to heal Glacier. Also, Amber mates with Birch. The tribe runs into a pack of ramfoxes, but Birch and Glacier can fight them. Meanwhile, Frost stands in front of a bear to save Seeker. TIMESKIP Seeker grows into a teen, and he finds an icy rock SEEKER YOU BLINKED He has heard stories of where Amber and Spruce came from, so... he breaks it. Inside, there is a little child. "Hi!" she says, excited she looks like Amber but also like Glacier Seeker renembers how tommorrow is the day he leaves. He really wanted to find his father. His mother had told him all about what happenned, and she was always cold to him. He decides he needs someone to come too. "Hello," Seeker says "Can you repay me for freeing you?" "Sure!" she says, excited. "Anything!" "Can you come with me on... a journey?" "Like an adventure?!" "If you want to call it that," Seeker wasn't allowed to have a companion. He keeps her as a secret. The next day, Birch gives birth. "Amber, he's beutiful!" she cries. "Amber?" She had to face the cold, hard truth. Amber was dead. His sickness had taken his life. She began to cry, paws around her little child. His name is Aureum. Meanwhile, Seeker leaves, the child, who was named Slip, following him. It's day 38, and the original twins are now the bear slayers Look at Butter's second child, Polar! As Slip grows to a teen, it becomes easier for Seeker to travel with her.
