takoyama tries and fails to play Genesis part 2

okay so. ark got new expansion today. wahoo

not really any screenshots yet because i didn’t think i would make a forum post about this

 

okay so. i spawn in the first biome. we got HLN-A telling us what to do, etc, etc, Rockwell spying on us, etc, etc.

there are almost no creatures around, it seems. only two ducks.

i learn how to fly and have some fun.

i discover the Holy Patch of Floating Grass.

 

i admire the mountains, because WOW those are pretty.

 

i find a Spino, some Diplocaulus, and whatnot.

also two R-Parasaurs.

i murder the higher level, and tame the lower level, for reasons unknown to even myself.

set up a long base with three thatch foundations, a bed, storage boxes, a campfire, a mortar and pestle, a meat spoiler, and a saddle. thing.

grab a Diplocaulus because yes.

try to tame the Spino, fail miserably.

go explore with my newly-crafted cheaty spyglass, and find an alpha Carno, three Sarcos, and a Theri.

return to base.

try to murder an otter, get chased around the beach by two otters for five minutes, and i’m not exaggerating.

nothing much happened at the beginning of this post. got metal, got a crossbow, etc, etc.

 

i try and fail to tame sarcos, raptors, and a thyla.

find a mammoth, tame him. name him rye grass and later change it to sunrise.

 

get a crossbow. try to tame a sarco again, but it gets eaten as soon as i knock it out. 

go try to find a Maewing, find multiple.

try and fail to tame two, eventually get one.

 

fight some trikes that were way too close to base, the maewing gets involved, and almost dies.

fly around a bit, notice snow owls and rexes uncomfortably close to base.

 

that’s it that’s all i’ve done so far

i should make one of these but for my fjordur playthrough but im already at the industrial stage so you would miss me dying crying emoji
