well you always need to find a way to apply depth in drawings.

since it's from straight on it'll be harder to get that.

but from a side view it may be easier.

yeah, i have drawn animals with these types of legs sideways before, and thats way easier to do

a good marker is either:

1. toes

2. shoes

3. it's been drawn with feet in the other position

4. the artstyle has had feet in the other position

(also, your names sound good! one idea i had was to name her ru after rubus, which is a type of dewberry....berries are sweet...sugar is sweet...sugar glider...

kinda a stretch, but I named tal after the talons on a bird so I just tried to follow the same method, and this was the best thing I could come up with lol)
