But when the safe era has ended, strange things started happening. One nicheling grew big claws, another one switched genders and one even disappeared from existence. The island started moving, and it turned into a whale! Nichelings on the island tried to run away, but the stepping stones of the only port have collapsed... The tribe was slowly dying, leaving only a pair of nichelings, named Jenminta and Riku. 'These berries would make a good snack, if they weren't dried of course. They lack the juicy aroma.' 'And what exactly makes you the expert on berries?' 'Isn't that obvious? I was born to pick these berries with my nimble fingers.' 'There are more important things, Jen. Let's get moving before something happens.' ''K! FIRST ONE TO THE MAINLAND WINS!' 'Hey! This was kinda suspicious, but he didn't question it. Okay, maybe his mate is dumb and childlish, but in the world she would NEVER hurt him! 'Listen, this island isn't safe. And we're stuck here.
