This would be good if you wanted to do a playthrough of a non-Niche (and/or non SF) game on here (minecraft, roblox, sims, etc)

I don't think there's a need for it at all-

playthroughs are fine in off topic and there is not enough of off topic playthroughs for this to be needed at all.

also people just post playthroughs of games on their homethreads

that’s true- although i do think it might be helpful to organize off topic, but i agree that it’s not super necessary
