I KNOW I'M MAKING TOO MUCH OF THEM BUT I HAVE THE NEED TO

I came up with these weird rules

Any nicheling with deformities or webbed paws (front/hind) is considered cursed and they have red gems

When they come near a normal nicheling there is a 5/10 chance that they too will become cursed

If that happens, there is a 2/10 chance the cursed nicheling will uncurse themselves, they are setgened to not have cursed genes and they have gray gems, also they are immune to curses

Children of immune nichelings have a chance of being immune too

If a cursed nicheling mates with a normal, the children will be always cursed

If a cursed nicheling mates with an immune, the child is always either cursed or immune

yeah that's it, you can suggest some tweaks

One of the nichelings poked another.

'I guess so' The poked one said.

'You two, stop goofing around'

'Shhh, people. We don't know what's on this island.'

'OF COURSE WE DO! WHO SAID 'TAKE US ON, ISLAND'?!'

'OKAY OKAY I did.'

'Guys? Maybe let's focus on where we are.'

'Yeah... We're on an island... on the middle of the ocean...

Maybe let's get to know each other. I'm Star.'

'Rimi.'

'I'm Alelino'

'Well, I'm Minlenpip, and my annoying sister is--'

'I HEARD YOU! Anyways I'm Joi.'

'And these kids are...

Ladaya, Tulip, and Kuli, if I'm correct?'

'I'm Siipi. My tribe says I'm cursed--'

'CURSED?!'

At that word everyone started to panic.

'--but I don't think so?'

Minlenpip and Joi ran away into the ocean,

and everyone else inland.

Siipi was confused.

Was there something wrong with him?

He never had any friends.

He looked at his reflection.

He actually was one of the ugliest faces he had ever seen.

But that wasn't it.

Was he really cursed?

Siipi walked on the shore, then Minlenpip yelled at him.

'GET OUT!'

He walked away before she could scratch him.

'Good for her' Siipi thought. He remembered what happened to most people who touched him, though before the panic on the island he thought of it of less of a curse and more of a concidence.

Star sneezed.

'You good?'

'I'm good, thanks.' He sneezed just after saying it.

'You sure? It doesn't look like a minor cold.'

'No, I'm fine, really.' He sneezed again.

'Maybe let's find a healing plant.'

'Okay, maybe that's a good idea.'

Joi and Minlenpip were fishing together.

'Hey, what's up with the cream guy?'

'The derpy one? He's cursed.'

'Mhm. That's bad?'

'YES THAT'S VERY BAD IMBECILE!'

'What do you do to be an imbecile? I didn't know I was one.'

Minlenpip facepalmed herself.
