MT26 - A Nicheling
Yea, SpaceX made one that is taller and more powerful than the Saturn V (and completely reusable) and it can carry 100 people to the Moon or to Mars. wow They have the first full scale prototype ready and will probably launch by the end of the year. This is amazing, time for a new space race. Lol 3
Chiyanna
Interesting. What country is SpaceX in? I assume Apollo is American?

Apollo was the name of the Moon exploration program set by NASA (USA’s government space agency) like on the 60s or 70s (I don’t remember rn XD) Where they made a rocket called Saturn V to send astronauts to the Moon. (The historic Moon landing thing) SpaceX is a private American space agency (not owned by the government or NASA) so they fund and make their own rockets and they have focused on making their rockets reusable (since most rockets like Saturn V are discarded after each flight and left to float in space or burn up in the atmosphere so they need to make a new one for each flight) while SpaceX rockets land back at Earth and are refueled and used again for more flights. And now they want to make this super giant rocket to colonize Mars.

Especially when the government has dropped the ball. SpaceX comes along and says 'we're going to develop better rockets than the government itself cause we care about space travel and the enviroment' That is private industry at work, or as some call it free-market)
MT26 - A Nicheling
Yea, since the space shuttle accidents NASA apparently stepped down and during this last decade they didn't had rockets to send humans to space so they had to pay the Russians to do so. But now they use SpaceX rockets.
