Let's see where this goes!

My goal is to build a tribe that goes on for generations on a gigantic island. I want there to be a developed culture or something

This might not be very character focused (even by my playthrough standards) until i get a good oppoturnity

Burdock and Goutweed have both grown up on this small island. They've known each other since childhood and both of their families knew they'd form a family one day. kuva.thumb.png.2ca8e62e548e4285abc3e29bde9b19ee.pngkuva.thumb.png.e48b322cd31418d48f657fc5c22a8eeb.png

Cowslip finds collecting berries extremely frustrating and, unlike her brothers, she shows no interest in hunting. Luckily the ground is full of other things for her to go afterkuva.thumb.png.3e11e9b7a2af9cf7af5edb462a2de8af.png

Little Buckthorn is having no luck hunting. That doesn't stop him from trying thoughkuva.thumb.png.7aa2c2cdbe4bff704e48f9d4d5693b96.png

With the passing of Burdock and Goatweed it is time for the pack to split up. However Buckthorn has a different idea

kuva.thumb.png.f21838454844c8d27c9a7a7c6ef383c6.png

Cowslip agrees. The soil of this island has been turned around so many times it's barren. Thistle says they should bring Acorn as well. Buckthorn is against this, but Cowslip defends the young female, saying she has nowhere else to go. kuva.thumb.png.35320b180f042470a8cd6bf9d0a86669.png

Buckthorn invites his brother's pack to come along as well. Gorse is unsure, saying that they should stay in their parents' homeland but Meadowsweet is more interested in the ideakuva.thumb.png.64073115be878fb1f870397606b72b61.png

Meadowsweet is feeling weak from the traveling. Gorse is worried for her and helps her build a nest.

"This is your fault, Buckthorn! If it wasn't for your stupid trip, she'd be okay!" he yells at his brother.

"No one forced you to come along" Cowslip defends Gorse. Then she sniffs the air and begins digging the ground excitedly.

Meanwhile Thistle and Acorn sneak off into the grass. Thistle thinks that Gorse isn't ready to hear about them becoming mates right now

Meadowsweet dies giving birth to Ground-Ivy. Gorse blames his siblings for this. He decides to take his children and leavekuva.thumb.png.3ca520d2a1ab7562765ea29114b01c03.png

Meanwhile little Violet is greeted by her aunt and uncle, both of whom think that Thistle is being unreasonable.

"I'm sorry for not wanting you along earlier" Buckthorn apologizes to Acorn.

Acorn watches little Coltsfoot take his first steps out of the nest.

"I'll give it a try"

"But what if it's poisonous? You could die!" Cowslip protests

"I'm going to die soon anyway. I need to know wether I should keep my children away from plants like that or not"

Acorn eats the fruit. To her surprise she immediately feels better. For a moment breathing becomes easierkuva.thumb.png.a0a2a49a7c90104dcce03a9545e69679.png

The traveling siblings find a local. She introduces herself as Amethesia.

"That's an odd name" says Anemone

"Says a nicheling who's named after a plant" Amethesia responds

kuva.thumb.png.e86583af68e4539bedc67ea1a25ce5a0.png

Having been too young to remember anyone but his sister and vaguely his father, Ground-Ivy falls in love at first sight. Anemone is skeptical of this relationship. She's especially sure that her brother isn't ready to be a father. Regardless, little Emeferna is bornkuva.thumb.png.222fc86c3c2aae4edad7d064f2f1474d.png

Anemone, who is still mad at her brother, returns to the clearing only to find that she doesn't recognize anyone

"Who are you? Where's Buckthorn? Or Cowslip and Thistle?"

"Who are you and how do you know our father?" responds Bluebell.

"I'm Anemone. My father left this pack when I was young"

"I'm Bluebell and these are my siblings Violet and Coltsfoot. What are you doing here?"

"I..." She looks back at the way she came from. "I just wanted to return to my childhood pack" she says without mentioning her brother.

"Well, sorry to disappoint, but they're dead. You can still join us if you'd like"kuva.thumb.png.9eba44ea7e6f0b2426f05500c53323a4.png

Ground-Ivy and Amethesia go on about their lives. They both have decided that Anemone was in the wrong to judge their life decisions. Little Thornuk is bornkuva.thumb.png.06273aeaacce012547f9a6f7dd63ec00.png
