I dunno if this is still a thing, but before my old computer died we used to do Escape The Basic playthroughs. May have been a Lilytuft creation? Basically you start with 4 identical males and 4 identical females with grey gems that can be colored in by finding useful things. and you have to breed in all other genes with wanderers and only wanderers get to use the gene mutation menu. Ok? Ok! Lets begin.

 

So we have Autumn, Fall, Muddy, Puddles, Brownie, Cocoa, Chocolate and Chip!

Puddles finds the first food source and receives a pink gem. Brownie finds two food source and gets two pink gems. Chip finds food and receives a pink gem.

Cocoa finds the first nest, earning her a yellow gem and the honor of breeding first. Muddy finds the next nest and earns himself a yellow gem, Puddles earns her second pink gem.

First children about to be born in our little tribe.

We got a girl and a boy. Puddles son will be named Mahogany and Cocoas daughter will be named Sienna.

Autumn finds food and a nest earning her pink and yellow gems.

Cocoa earns a pink gem for discovering a berry bush. Brownie earns his third pink gem.

Chocolate finds our first wanderer and earns a blue gem for it. Wanderer is named Butterfly, not an amazing wanderer but maybe could share Chip with Chocolate as a mate. Butterfly was given Short snout and blue eyes in mutation menu to hopefully improve look of babies.

Autumn has had a son named Twig.

Cocoa has found another nest giving her, her third gem. yellow, pink, yellow.

I have been rouge maled twice. rouge babies will left for themselves. if they live to adulthood they can gather cactus fruit for me. Rouge babies are named Lami and Ina. Chocolate and Chip have each gained a red gem for successful hunts, Chocolate has had a daughter named Auburn. Young Sienna gains a yellow gem for a new nest.

Our wanderer has had a son named Feather. he is slightly less basic than the others.

Wanderer and Chip immediately have a daughter named DustyRose.

Autumn and Fall were tragically killed in a Beareyna attack.

Feather has found himself a mate named Jenni.

All of the original nichelings have dies of old age. Rouge children Lami and Ina have died. Twig and Sienna become mates to keep us supplied with basic Nichelings.

And we are back!

Feather and Jenny have a daughter named Lips. Definitely one of the more interesting tribe members so far.

Mohogany has died in a Beareyna attack. We are getting alot of those. Sienna and twig have had a basic son named Coffee. Lips and her father feather have each gained a colored gem.

Feather and Jenni have a second daughter. A pretty 1 winged girl named Skye.

Jenni has died of old age.

DustyRose has found herself a mate who is also kinda basic. His name is Bitee. He receives Claw and Mask Pattern in his mutation Menu. 

Coffee and Lips become mates.

We have moved islands to a meadow biome.

Continuing where we left off.

This is our little tribe now. we have Old man Feather, Coffee and Lips with their boy Sun, Bitee and DustyRose with their Albino son Albie and young Skye. We are slightly less basic with each new generation.

Feather earns a pink gem for finding food. Coffee earns a pink gem for finding food. Skye earns a pink gem for finding food. We got lots to eat here...

Bitee dies of old age, DustyRose prepairs to have their second child.

DustyRose has had a Basic Daughter Brindle with a deformed paw. Feather gains his third colored gem for more food discovery.

Skye gains her second pink gem. Lips and Coffee have a second son, Bright is completely identical to his brother. DustyRose has died of old age.

Feather has died of old age.

Coffee and Lips have another boy. Flash has a slightly lighter mane than his brothers. We really need girls...

Albie earns a pink gem. Sun earns a pink gem. Coffee earns his third gem.

Brindle and Sun have become mates.

Brindle and Sun have had a daughter named Hazel. she is identical to her mother.

Sky recieves a yellow gem for finding a nest.

Coffee and Lips have has a daughter named Faith. Yay Nimble Fingers. Bright has earned a yellow gem. 

Lips has died giving birth to another son. Cuppa also has Nimble fingers.

Coffee has died of old age.

Bright recieves a pink gem. Skye has died of old age. Flash recieves a yellow gem.

Cuppa gains a pink gem. Hazel and Cuppa become mates.

Albie and Sun have both died of old age.

Hazel and Cuppa have a son named Jojo. Brindle has died in a beareyna attack. Bright has gained his third pink gem.

Hazel and Cuppa have their second child, Momo is a carbon copy of his father.

A gorgeous little wanderer named Pips has been found as a mate for Jojo.

Bright and Flash have both died of old age.

A very unbasic mate for Momo has been found. Her name is Merri.

Cuppa and Hazel have died in a beareyna attack. Faith has died of old age. We are headed for a new Island

We have landed on a Swamp Biome.

Momo and Merri have had a clawed daughter named Musk. its hard to see, but she does have spots like her mom. Pips has had an albino son named Elf. The children unfortuately share immunity genes so not mates...

Momo gains a yellow Gem and a pink Gem.

Merri and Momo have had a red antlered son named Zeal. Jojo has died of old age.

Pippi and Jojo's last child was born. a deformed paw basic child named Gigi. She will be mates with Zeal.

Momo has died of old age. Pippi has died of old age.

Merry has died of old age. we are down to 4 nichelings and a days worth of food...

Elf was killed in a Bearyna attack.

We have some complicated things happening on this island.

Zeal and Gigi had a Gorgious daughter named Wren. She got the coolest horns and Nimble Fingers. Musk found a mate, he is the albino. His name is Squirrel and unfortunately he has only 2 days of life left. Musk was injured in the Beareyna attack that killed Elf and also only has 2 days of life left. Lets see if we can get 2 children from them. They had a pretty daughter we are naming Darta. She has the dreaded Frog legs, but otherwise seems perfect. 

Another Beareyna killed baby Darta... So Sad.

Musk and Squirrel have died leaving behind a Melanistic daughter named Marei. Gigi is about to have their second child, but we are attempting to flee Beareynas first.

Zeal and Young Wren were killed in our escape attempt.

Zeal and Gigi's second daughter is almost identical to her late sister and has been named Willow. We need males desperately.

We got wiped in another Beareyna attack. they were just everywhere that run.
