Peanutpup77 Posted February 9, 2022 Posted February 9, 2022 Hi! I was wondering if you could still play niche in early access. Does anyone know?
Lilytuft Posted February 11, 2022 Posted February 11, 2022 Yeah, right click Niche in your Steam library, select "properties", then betas and select the version you want to play. Then wait for the game to "update" itself. If it gives you a pop up asking you if you want to play Niche or Niche when you start the game, select the lower option 1
Peanutpup77 Posted February 12, 2022 Author Posted February 12, 2022 How do you access the really early versions of the game, like 0.0.7? 1

Robb Plat Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 Thought this page would be the most suitable for this post. Felt nostalgic and booted up one of the oldest available version (0.1.5). Mind you, all these versions are quite glitchy still (obviously, they were removing bugs and glitches at this stage). I took some screenshots, if y'all would like a gander: 1 1
Robb Plat Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 The files are a bit big, so I'm spreading them out. 1
Robb Plat Posted April 22, 2022 Posted April 22, 2022 The biggest issues were that the genotypes were bugged (snout and horns switched places on the gene bar), genes/illnesses randomly appeared, and each movement (moving, collecting, etc.) took 1 food 😱 1
