Nightpaw didn't notice her at first as he moved on to the next dummy. But then he got a whiff of TC scent and looked to the side. He couldn't say hi, because he was in the middle of an assessment, but flicked his whiskers at her and sent his shadows through the ground to grapple at the dummy, throwing it aside to a tree with a large amount of force.

Rosewing acknowledged his twitch of the whiskers with a swish of her tail, and continued to watch him defeat the dummies. She felt a rush of admiration and elation at the sight of him. After days of thinking about him, of wanting to see him again, she was finally here. But then she realized that if Nightpaw had scented her, her mentor would too. She rolled in some ferns and dirt to mask her scent with the scent of the shrubbery.

At gatherings, we can plan further meetings. Tonight, at moon-high (not sure if that's a thing), go down the tunnel and wait for me." Rosewing twined her tail with Nightpaw's for a fraction of a second, then raced back through the trees.

He smiled, then backed out of the bush and found the next dummy with ease, which he defeated by sending his shadows up tree bark and shooting out from a branch over head, grabbing the dummy by the scruff and throwing it into a tree. He was sure that that was the last dummy.

Elkfur seemed to  approve of Nightpaw, she nodded, containing herself.

Rosewing shot through the trees, down the tunnel, and back into her own territory. She found the squirrel that she had caught before and caught a few more pieces o prey so that she didn't look suspicious. She re-entered the ThunderClan camp and dropped her prey on the fresh-kill pile.
