A group of dragons from different tribes gathered on one island, part of an archipelago.

They've been traveling for a long time, beginning with Yellowjacket the Hivewing and Ashlar the Mudwing, banished for their forbidden relationship, as the queens of both tribes believed that hybrids shouldn't exist. They gathered other dragons, such as Puffball, Ashlar's niece.

The others that came with them were Aconite the Leafwing, Verglas the Rain-Ice hybrid, Aye-aye the Rain-Night hybrid, Chili the Rain-Sand hybrid, Snakebird the Rain-Sky hybrid, and Castor the Rain-Mud hybrid.

Despite Yellowjacket and Ashlar's elderly age they were voted to be the tribe they called MixWings' king and queen.

Puffball ran up to Ashlar. "Aunt, can I go play in the grass with Verglas?" The dragonet looked at her aunt's twig crown with respect but no fear.

The queen turned to the young princess. "If you promise to not get into any trouble... you can go." She smiled.

"You're too worried about us! Don't worry, we can take on anything ourselves!" Puffball was annoyed, but she knew she would never stop caring for her.

"I don't think so. You're still little." Ashlar chuckled a bit, but in a motherly way. She wanted to say something more but the dragonets already disappeared to the grass.

I'll only do the most important moments

but for now:

-Ashlar and Yellowjacket have a daughter named Capybara

-Puffball is adult now
