Feeding While sitting to sleep

In haste before a storm, I told my people to command my Beast to sit down for sleep.

As he was sitting down I also commanded for the Beast to be fed.
The animation played of him being fed with his head under his body.
When I asked him to move again after some rest, I commanded the people to feed him again. 
The counter showed 2 of 1(something indicating that the food was over what it should be). When he got fed the second time, the animation played, and the food went to 1/1, with no hunger lose. Almost like the feed command prior accepted the feed % but not the food, and the second time it accepted the animation and food but not the food %.
I don't know if I could be reproduced, but I thought I'd just make mention of it. 😃
