it was silent, other then for the sound of the wind and distant talking.

the area you were in was a clearing, you were near a tree (as a shelter from the rain which was highly common in two). two never made shelters, only the monarch and the monarch's family got shelters high into the trees.

it was quite hard to ever sleep in tree due to the bird song and constant sounds of other cats. but you somehow did.

the den you were in was quite large, however it was very crowded most of the time. which was always strange as tree's territory reached the whole semi continent. the walls of the den were woven leaves, woven quite sloppily to be honest.

that wasn't good- the birds were used to your clowder, so they never made calls like that.

the den you were in was half-falling down, and you barely had any time during the day to fix it.

An overwhelming fear and sickness crept over them. As bloom noticed the cat still alive, bloom sprinted over to them, proceeding to beg "What happened?! Where's everyone else?!" After realizing that they may not be able to talk, sprout silently prayed that they could.

Snail looked horrified as the cat slowly died. Some place in their heart felt that they were guilty for this. Bloom put the corpse down, slowly backing away. No, this couldn't be happening! This is all just a bad dream and if bloom went back to bed bloom would just... wake up!! Right?... Sprout thought in a panic, slowly walking back to sprouts den and laying down, hyperventilating as sprout glanced around, waiting to wake up. They truly believed none of this was real....

you laid there for a couple minutes. you opened your eyes again. you could still smell the blood scent. it was reality.

This wasn't good... Bloom had no idea what to do. They laid there, clueless, scared, and sick for a while. Sprout slowly got up, walking outside and stopping at the seemingly uncountable amount of bodies. Sprout carefully maneuvered their way around this river of death, suppressing sprouts sickness.

you could head to lone or two, lone was the closest. even if they were in a war they could still be of help. the bird call ended. the forest going abnormally silent.

Alex woke up dreamily and yawned. Ah, another morning infested with bird noise. She grumbled silently and waited for something important happen.
